Lovely location
Beer garden ok
But....for diet coke from the tap....
2 diet cokes 1 packet of salt & vinegar...£9...! Yes....nine pounds ...felt ripped off and experience ruined.... won't be back!

Lovely place to stop with your boat but in the other hand toilets were disgusting, I ordered the beer battered haddock the batter was burnt and after my meal felt really ill. Would not recommend !

A lovely isolated pub down a gravel track across the marshes.
Very busy when we went but it was a sunny summer Saturday.
Good food & drink options, staff really friendly & cheerful.

Food was good although limited menu choices for the afternoon with only versions of loaded chips available or fried food. Nice location next to the water but a very bumpy drive down to a small car park.

A lovely feed and a great location to eat or just have a drink.

Was advised to go here by a local cruiser hire company and was worth the visit.

Great pub located right on the River Waveney. Great local beers and Ciders. Wine by the bottle or glass too. We traveled there by the Big Dog Ferry from Beccles. Recommended.

Community pub. Not been there for ages. Great selection and varieties of beers and ciders. Lots of seating inside and out. Safe areas for children. Only downside is the walk from the car park to the pub. (Especially if the weather turns while there!)

A community run pub which is truly a unique experience which should not be missed. !

Great find off the track but well worth the visit. Good pub food and plenty of ales.

A wee gem found by only those that explore.....
Easily reachable by canoe, paddle board or kayak, and even motorised watercraft (height potentially restricted), this place is well worth the visit.
Land vehicles are welcomed too, but unless disabled there is a short 2-5 minute walk depending on mobility..... A few sherberts could mean your walk back is on the longer side.
My experience of the food was exceptional. I'm a burger fiend, but when I tasted the battered haddock and chips, I realised I made the wrong choice. The burger was a bloody good one, but wow, the fish and chips were perfect. Up amongst the top 3 best battered fish and chips I've had.
Lovely beer garden with plenty of seating as well as an extensive array of inside space.
Plenty of different activities such as storytelling and folk music to name but a few.
A small area with some classic bar games to boot and who doesn't enjoy bar billiards?
My only complaint is that this boozer isn't my local......
Anyone have a house for rent/sale nearby?
A perfect example of what a pub should be.....
Try it out and tell me I'm wrong.

Too late for food but beer was good.
