A beautiful church with lots of fascinating history including knights entombed within its walls and a glass window removed during the Blitz. The people were friendly and extremely welcoming. Simply fantastic....a very peaceful place.

St. Peter & St. Paul's is a traditional stone rural Suffolk church, impressively sited on a slope overlooking the main road through East Harling. The building is on the scale of the Suffolk 'Wool churches', with tall tracery windows & expert stone carving. St. Peter & St. Paul's is ornately constructed with flint inlay in the large porch & very intricate detailing in the tall stone steeple. The interior is equally impressive with traditionally carved woodwork & stained glass windows. The surrounding churchyard is well kept with some old gravestones sheltering in the shade of mature trees.

Only walked around the outside but it is a very nice church. Beautiful little spot to sit and relax on a small mound surrounded by trees in the back. Grass well cut and maintained. 15th century I think, according to the sign at the front.

Went to see an art exhibition, created by local artists, from ceramics to linocut drawings. A great, calming and cooling building to visit on such a hot day. It is clearly a very well loved and cared for building, lovely to visit.

Open every day, beautiful traditional church. Hand pumped organ still in use, and rood stairs still there.
