My first time to this bank in over 8 months. There was a new lady in the bank, who was incredibly polite, helpful and good at advising how to overcome situations. In the past, I?ve felt they have been abrupt, I feel that the new staff maybe the start of a more enjoyable experience to the bank at what is a difficult time for us all during this pandemic. Thank you for the best service I?ve ever had in a bank, which was today!

Went in thursday 23rd April to pay a bill, as was out doing my weekly shop, I know we are on lockdown but I was told by the girl behind the counter I should have paid it over the phone or Direct Debit, and that I was putting her life at risk and my own. YOU SHOULD NOT BE OPEN THEN IF YOU DO NOT WANT CUSTOMERS IN. I HAVE BANKED AT TSB/ LLOYDS IN DOWNHAM MARKET ALL OF MY LIFE. May have to reconsider after lock down. Thought it was very very rude to speak to a customer like that, and it really upset me. It wasn't as if I had made a special journey, I was out doing my essential shop at Morrisons. If no stars was an option that is what I would have given.

Spent 30 minutes queuing to get into the bank was pushed in front and then when I finally got to the counter and asked for £1.00 coins I was told they didn't have any with no apology or explanation. Spoke to the manager who confirmed that they were waiting for £1.00 to come in - is this a joke?

Poor, used to be atleast 3 members of staff serving, went in today and there was a massive queue of people waiting to be served as usual by one member of staff who was serving. The immediate deposit machine is a waste of time as well, one minute it works, then it doesnâ??t. Banks need to stop replacing members of staff with machines that donâ??t work / people donâ??t know how to work. There are a vast amount of elderly people in Downham Market, and everytime I go in they are all complaining about the time they have to be wait to be served. If something isnâ??t done about this, I myself will be switching banks.
