Staff was very rude and unpleasant when waiting to order was left at the till for 5 mins and no one offered to serve staff was to busy chatting amongst themselves, very poor decision to visit on this occasion

Very poor, they don't do a decaffeinated tea or coffee, the staff are miserable, when I asked why they don't do decaff tea or coffee I was told 'because we don't' it was cold in the restaurant as the door was open, you can't use the toilet without getting a code which is wrong. The price was very expensive for what you get.

Very popular, very busy cafe. One of the better cafe's in Downham Market if you just want a break from shopping.
Wheelchair accessibility: Café is large enough to accommodate wheelchair access plus a additional disabled toilet.

It is very easy to critique somewhere as simple as Greggs. As with all private sector businesses a lot of people work very hard to get a place good enough to open and stay consistent. Managers do large unpaid shift. Colleuages work unequally and get paid for the same work but to the customer that does not matter . My experience at greggs Downham has been at the very least lacklustre. The site itself is very clean well organised and relatively well replenished( it is worth noting that there are gaps but this is to be expected on a Sunday trade) the customer service here from the server was non existant and even huffed a few times which is unnecessary and not acceptable . Bare in my mind I ordered my food nearly instantly from what stock I could see in was available . This essentially makes the job as easy as taking payment and collecting the right items .Poor. Food was what I expect from Greggs Hense the 5 star. This does not mean that is is restaurant quality . Just that if you were to go to any Greggs that this is the result you would expec.

I wish the food was like the staff, not full of puff, but rich and deep with the filling. They have WiFi. It's very clean and well organised. Has outdoor seating. A fair amount of #vegetarian options. Staff here, very efficient. I wish the food and coffee matched that level. Still. Good for the buck

I have been in lots of greggs frm Suffolk ,Cambridge &norfolk,& have found downham the best by far,pleasant staff,a bright cheerful store, everywhere as clean as a whistle.fast service,& the staff are always busy.not stood around talking.they also have a group of ladies that meet there everyday &have done for along time. They also affordable for everyone.yea I love greggs downham mkt!!Parking: Right outside the ofor about 30 cars
