When it came to renovating our kitchen, we decided that only a bespoke kitchen would be needed. This was due to the unusual dimensions and wanting to keep a ?cottage feel? to the oldest part of the house which included an original bread oven as a key feature. After contacting several local suppliers for quotes and proposals, we asked Derrick to craft the kitchen of our dreams, and we have not been disappointed.From the initial consultation to the final installation, every step of the process has been a testament to Derrick's commitment to excellence and attention to detail. This allowed him to bring our plans to life and his guidance certainly helped to enhance the final design.High-Quality Materials: This was another area where we relied on Derrick?s guidance. The carcasses are made of a high quality ply and where there are exposed edges this enhances rather than detracts from the overall effect. It is the worktop however that is his pièce de resistance. We were lucky enough that the Scottish Elm that he sourced for us was, as he described, some of the nicest wood he had seen in many years. This was turned into planks and has been jointed together seamlessly.Functionality and Practicality: Everything simply works so, so well! The layout and every feature means that the whole space functions as it should. This include the two wheeled units, one of these containing the rubbish and recycling unit.In conclusion, our bespoke kitchen has exceeded our highest expectations.
