I agree with the other 5* review; good old-fashioned customer service through & through. I even bumped into one of the owners (currently the Mayor!) & asked about a specific size bowl I needed to replace. Rather than say "yes pop in & have a look" he insisted on calling one of his colleagues to take precise measurements & even reserved it for me. Was cheaper than buying the same item online too. But I'd happily pay a bit more sometimes to keep great stores like this going, avoid the initial ease/laziness of online shopping but then skipping the hassle of couriers & returning incorrect/inferior products. Infinitely preferable to some of the larger discount/hardware shops in Diss who take ages to answer the phone & staff look bored & indifferent. Larter & Ford also looks deceptively small from the front but it disappears back like the Tardis! Please take a look & support these great little high street businesses to keep them going.

Absolutely fantastic shop, you can buy anything from one nail to a coffee maker, a dying breed. Keep going please you have many, many fans.
