I Stayed here for a model railway exhibition in Dereham and it was a lovely hotel I arrived quite late and was greeted with the lovely owner who then made us some food which was AMAZING. He gave us some food for breakfast in the morning as we were going to miss it. He then showed us to our amazing room which was exceptionally clean and our beds were very comfy.
Overall This is a amazing hotel and should have 5 stars

Absolutely amazing place to stay. I was here for work in Dereham so having stayed at this hotel which was only a 10mins drive was ideal. Hosts were super nice and genuine. Although I didn?t get any pictures of the room I did get pictures of the food at the restaurant which I can say was 10/10.
Definitely recommend staying here.
Rooms: Rooms were clean, spacious and modern. Only 1 small issue would be the shower head location should be changed as it?s in a very awkward position (sort of like you?re under a staircase) but I think the rest of the room makes up for it.
Food and drinks: I didn?t quite catch the chefs name but hats off to him. Everything I ordered was made to perfection especially the pork.

Stayed for a few nights as it was close to my Sons wedding. The room was lovely,comfy and clean. The staff were sooo helpful with everything we asked for , some of which was above and beyond. Lovely food and what an amazing location with a lovely lake to walk around for some rest and relaxation. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back again for a visit.

Been coming here for 3 years with my service user. She absolutely loves it here.
The Barn she stays in, is outstanding! Caters for all her needs.
Location is so quiet & tranquil.
Has a warm pool, & a hoist into the water.
Alex & Julie are phenomenal Hosts.
Would highly recommend The Greenbanks Hotel & Barns, for a wonderful time away.

Well what can I say, food was stunning and Alex was able to come up with some culinary delight?s this evening.
Phillipa who was front of house and served us was a wonderful hostess and really couldn?t do enough for us.
This was a special occasion (Anniversary) and they made it all the more special with a surprise cake at the end of the evening - we really believe this to be the best place to eat within Dereham
Food and drinks: Great choice of fresh cooked meals, Alex the chef is more than happy to come up with specials and listen to what you want

Once again a brilliant evening to celebrate a birthday. With professional and attentive staff. Another excellent meal as I have come to expect over my many visits.my party included young children, adults and some very mature guests, all of whom left having had a thouroughly good evening. My partner and I went for a meal on Saturday night. All I can say is WOW and WOW What a fantastic meal. So delicious and well presented. So excited I took pictures before the vegetables arrived. What an amazing place. Rooms very comfy and cosy, the swimming pool, sauna and hot tub are well looked after and nice to use, especially when only 4 people are allowed in during the time slot. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Big dog friendly place. They made us feel so welcome and gave us a relaxing time away.....and the food, words can't express how unbelievable the food was. So tasty, every mouthful was a delight and as I informed them prior that I was vegetarian, they made extra meals for me to choose from which weren't just boring macaroni cheese or plants burger. I had an the choice of mushroom tagliatelle, spinach and paneer cheese curry and the second night I was given the most amazing mushroom Wellington.Thank you so much and I will definitely rebook next time we are down that way.

A lovely gem in a beautiful location. Our room was beautiful, with plenty of space, a comfortable bed and huge bathroom. The restaurant was amazing, Alex is a talented chef and we couldn?t fault the food. Ingredients are obviously fresh and local and breakfast and dinner were delicious. Lovely staff who couldn?t do enough for us. Definitely recommend Greenbanks for a great stay!

I stayed at this hotel for business as opposed to leisure. The room was perfect, every amenity you could need. The bed was divine and I slept like a baby. I very much enjoyed the breakfast and the staff are all very welcoming and helpful. I will most certainly be back again!

All good about this hotel. Wonderful and interesting rooms with appealing grounds in an ideal Norfolk location topped off by very friendly and engaging owners and staff. Love this place.

We had a wonderful holiday at Greenbanks. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were friendly and helpful. One of our party is disabled: the facilities and accommodation were perfect for access and use. We used both the barn self-catering, which is very well adapted for disabled people, and some of the other hotel rooms which were also easy to access. The pool has a hoist and is kept at a warm temperature. Alex is a fabulous cook and delights in preparing a huge range of top-quality meals. If the food you like is not on the set menu just ask Alex and he will make it for you. Some of our party are vegan and Alex produced some incredible meals for them. The grounds are beautiful and contain a lake. There is also a BBQ pit which guests are welcome to use. A very highly recommended hotel.
