Me and my husband had a lovely meal out at the Wellington and the service and staff was exceptionally good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would well recommend. Lovely meals.

Traditional pub, serving a wide selection of beers and a nice variety of food. It was very busy, so we had to wait for our meal, but the crab sandwich and the fish and chips were very nice, worth the wait. The service in general was good and the location is very central (although Cromer is not too big!). Definitely, a nice stop!

Food was alright. Outdoor patio area was nice for our big group. They allowed us to bring in some gluten free food from another business as they did not offer gluten free at the time of visit.

The room was nice: clean, tidy, and with lovely furnishings. The rates were also reasonable, especially considering how close we were to the seafront. Staff were friendly and pleasant. There was some early-morning noise from the road but we were right by it so that's to be expected.
There were only two things that were a bit of a problem: check in was listed as being from 3pm, and we arrived shortly after that, but towels were not available in the rooms until 9pm, which seemed a bit strange. The staff mentioned that the towels hadn't been delivered yet, so this may have been a one-off delay caused by a third party.
The other thing was a cable on the back of the TV, which was damaged with frayed wires exposed (we only noticed this as we were getting ready to leave).
I think the best part for us was the location, which was really convenient for the town and the beach.

Decent pub and super dog friendly

The food was pretty poor. You have the choice of a really plain dry burger, or being upsold add ons, £2 for a piece of cheese is excessive.

Gents toilet x1 ? Or so I found and it wasn?t pleasant! It?s a drinking pub, unusual for ?Spoons and good to see it thriving however I was after food but after smelling then seeing the toilet I left as soon as I did, glad I hadn?t already got a pint or food!

We had lunch here recently and found the meal misdescribed on the menu and vastly overpriced for the quantity served. We had 2 different ploughman salads, served on dessert sized plates, missing items listed on the menu and others served in tiny quantities. 1 slice of cucumber, half a slice of beetroot, one cherry tomato etc. For £20 that?s poor value for money.
