Love this place. Friendly, personal, excellent screens and quality of image /sound, and great programme. Wonderfully transformed from the old days. And still as good, post-pandemic, several years after first posting this review.

Great quality local cinema. I've seen other Merlin Cinemas elsewhere in the country and they can be a complete dive. This one is kept to a decent standard. It can't be compared to the massive IMAX 3D Dolby Atmos monsters in the cities. It's a different experience. The toilets are in desperate need of a facelift and we watched a movie on screen 1 and I think one of the speakers was faulty. Other than that, they're doing great!

Everything a local cinema should be. Intimate screens, great food prices, range of films for all ages and great staff. Exceptionally clean and friendly atmosphere. Next time you fancy watching a film, support your local cinema! I visit Cromer yearly, and coming to the Movieplex is a tradition that never dissapoints!

Took my grandson to see IF here today and pre booked our seats. Firstly the young man (Stan) serving the snacks and drinks was very polite and helpful and later, when showing us to our seats I realised I had accidentally booked seats right at the front when I'd intended booking them at the back. This young man said he would try and alter them for me, which he did, and returned to show us to them. I thought his whole attitude was worthy of a big thank you. Great service done with a smile!

Erm....... Imagine your gran owned a cinema.
Vintage?...... The screen and sound were ok and it was very cheap (although the popcorn etc was very much priced for 2024)

Great cinema - however prices seem to be higher despite same size screens, possibly worth going into Norwich for higher quality films
