Love this place! Staff are so friendly and welcoming and James the chef is a fabulous cook. Good healthy and delicious home cooked food, served with a variety of vegetables which is so rare these days in any eatery. Delicious cakes. Caters for all dietary needs. Light meals, breakfasts, main meals? or just a cuppa! Great selection. Thoroughly recommend! ?Dietary restrictions: Great vegan options! Also caters for others too

The food here is really nice. The 3-meat sandwich could feed a family of lions. (The photo I've added was a fraction of the sandwich). The scone was warm, fresh, and spankin' gorgeous! Nice pot of tea to go with it.The staff were lovely and personable.Highly recommended for a quaint British lunch! We had a late lunch so the restaurant was quiet but they played good music for us. I imagine during busy periods there's a lovely atmosphere, reminiscent of way back when.

The best breakfast and lunch in Cromer. A proper old school cafe, with incredible food that?s locally sourced. Family run too? 10/10

Had a superb meal last Saturday. I had the pie and the wife had bangers and mash. ALL of the food was cooked to perfection with great selection of vegetables and all served with a friendly smile - can't wait to go back for Christmas lunch.

Very special place, lovely service, just warm and welcoming people. Highly recommending, especially for coeliac people that need the extra attention to detail. Staff was very confident and accommodating. The food was also good, and the atmosphere was cozy. Great for everyone individually dining or small group of may 6 tops as the space can be limited.

My family are 75% veggie. The breakfasts here offered multiple veggie options as well as traditional and modern meat and fish options. We all opted for cooked breakfasts around the £10 mark including white or granary toast. All was cooked to order and fresh. Good quality ingredients and where we asked for softly done scrambled eggs, that is exactly what we got. Massive pots of tea with extra water too! All in all a very good experience for carnivores and veggie eaters. Very friendly and attentive service. Would heartily recommend when in Cromer centre.

Whatever your requirements Brownes will meet it. Great for a snack, full meal, cakes etc. We had soup, homemade of course with chunky bread and the nice touch was salt and pepper sachets in a separate dish. Also tried their omelettes and they came with 8 different vegetables together with a huge omelette. Served on a table with linen tablecloths. Friendly staff and generous portions.

Sat outside with our dogs and the staff bought them water and took our photo. Delicious fresh bread as well as salad, crisps and of course crab!
