Great food service and at a nice price.Came on for a Sunday roast, the bar staff twere very friendly and the food was very good.Food portion size is perfect with nicely layer out plates.I was also presently surprised to get a Cauliflower and broccoli cheese with the meal.When we are back in the area we will definitely be back..(Now to check out the desert menu...)

Great food, piping hot and very tasty. Good home style cooking food, nothing fancy! Great prices and a helpful barmaid. Only issue is the fruit machines were flashing so much and lighting the whole room up. I thought it was emergency services to begin with speeding past the window. I don?t feel they should be flashing like that as it detracts from an otherwise nice atmosphere.

Took the family for a meal on our last night of staying in the village. With 10 of us including 4 young children, we were made welcome, nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced.Thank you for such a lovely evening!

We have been visiting North Norfolk for the past 7 years, mainly around Holt, and have only today discovered The Dukes Head which is literally 5 minutes down the road from Edgefield Green. The food was proper pub grub at normal prices as opposed to inflated prices everywhere else for mediocre food. We have rebooked for tomorrow night. Lovely local pub, great service and nice back garden area. Don?t make our mistake and overlook it but best you book in advance. Dog friendly too.

Great little pub. Clearly one for the locals but very welcoming to us, visiting from other areas. Food was good, beer was cold and a Pokestop outside to keep the kids amused!

One of the best roast dinners in Norfolk! Went for Sunday lunch and as always very happy, service and food is excellent! Fantastic loacal beer and great dinner take away option available for if your full up but might fancy a pudding when you get home. relaxed atmosphere great for family and friends
