Went to this lovely pub today for a bar lunch, food was delicious, beer garden very pretty and the landlady was very welcoming.

Nice room clean had nice lil touches was took to room by louise and made welcome wifi good ...my only complaints was didnt like fact neighbours houses can see into your room unless put blind down ..not a lot of breakfast choice mat in shower didnt stick properly unfortunley when we stayed we incurred a bonfire smell very strong from possible neighbour which made the stay quiet unpleasant and v late at midnight causing us to cough or close windows when it was boiling ...also felt should be more choice of teabags i.e green only white bread was offered for brekkie also ... fine for a overnight break only. .

I stayed here Wednesday 17/07. The hosts were both brilliant, the room was clean well appointed and comfortable and it would have been hard to find fault.
I?d originally booked to stay on 16/07 but suffered a breakdown on the way and fully expecting to loose my prepayment, as is only right as they have a business to run. However the hosts were both very accommodating and allowed me to transfer to the next evening, which I greatly appreciated.
For an isolated country pub they seem to work hard at keeping the pub busy, the previous evening there was a darts match and the evening I stayed a quiz night and the pub was buzzing.
Well worth a visit.

Louise and Martin were exceptional hosts, making a fantastic first impression by letting us check in early and even providing taxi numbers for our convenience.
The Room and Amenities -
The modern room, surprisingly spacious and immaculately clean, is tucked away behind the King's Head. The bathroom is equally large, featuring a great shower and all necessary toiletries. However, the true highlight of our stay was the bed, which provided one of the best nights of sleep we've ever had.
Thoughtful Touches -
The breakfast items were a lovely and much-appreciated detail, showing the hosts' thoughtful effort.
10/10 for us!

Our host was welcoming and delightful and could not have been more helpful. Our room was gorgeous, the toiletries were fab, the bed was extremely comfortable and the garden was lovely. We were even lucky enough to try some delicious, just made cake. 5/5 all the way!

Our stay was brilliant, timed very well with an outdoor food event- which was well worth it!
The pub and overnight accommodation was clean and warm, plenty of drinks (hot and cold) and room to chat and socialise.
The pub is a real gem in the village and Louise and Martin have made it so welcoming to all.
