We ate here twice during our short break in Blakeney. (We did not have the tasting menu though!) Both time we we warmly welcomed, the restaurant had a good atmosphere. Food was really good, high quality ingredients that were well cooked and we got a fair portion size will we go back? - Yes we will!

We went for a Sunday roast at 6pm, was really nice to find somewhere doing roasts at this time! Great food and atmosphere, would recommend!

Top class Sunday lunch today. Really relaxing ambience and nice to have some music in the background. The Sunday lunch was served with all the vegetables you would need including one of the best cauliflower cheese I?ve tasted for a while. Sirloin of beef cooked perfectly pink and pork was a good size and very tasty. I can see why some reviews would be disappointed with the portion sizes of meat but for us it?s about quality as well as quantity. Definitely go back for Sunday lunch again.

We have visited Blakeney house on a numerous occasions and it is always absolutely first class. The food is some of the best I have ever had the flavours are unbelievable. The atmosphere is very welcoming with a lovely open fire to enjoy. Thank you to Shaun and Tracey for making us feel so welcomed we can?t wait to return

I can't fault the quality of the food it was excellent. My problem was the lack of quantity. I had chicken pie. I have had bigger cocktail pork pies from Birds. Top quality food. Top prices. Overall very expensive and not value for money. After we left we had food when we got back to our cottage as we were both still hungry.

Had a nice meal here with friends recently. Service was very friendly and the set menu was competitively priced. Portion sizes were quite shall but when you consider the price you are paying, it is no wonder. I was perfectly happy with the portion sizes but others might expect more.

Went to Blakeney House during Norfolk restaurant week. Five course menu was excellent, beautifully presented in a lovely dining room with log fire. Welcoming staff made the whole experience delightful.

Four of us went here for the Norfolk Restaurant Week Menu. The place is very warm , welcoming and intimate. Excellent bar and very good wine list. Good Norfolk ale - Lacons of Yarmouth - though some might find the ale temperature a bit on the cold side. The menu had excellent choice in each of the 3 courses. All the food we had was superb. Great imagination from the chef and perfect attention to preparation and presentation. The waiter was friendly and helpful without being overbearing. In sum - an excellent enjoyable evening at a reasonable cost for the quality and we will certainly be going again to try other menus.

We visited this lovely restaurant during Norfolk restaurant week. The staff were welcoming, the food was delicious, fresh local ingredients and a lovely choice of meat, fish and vegan options. We will definitely be back to try the 5 course taster menu.

This was the first time we have eaten here and as locals I can see us returning on a regular basis. Had three course meal as part of Norfolk restaurant week. The food was excellent both in taste and presentation. The service was spot on. Attentive, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxed with nice background music, an open fire and good space between the tables. Will return for the taster menu and Sunday lunch, which sound really good
