Visited to stay and eat a couple of times. A blissful place, far from the bustle, situated in silence and yet full of people having and excellent time.

I was recommended by the pub in the village, I hadn?t booked.
Was made to feel welcome from the beginning,
I was shown to my room , comfortable bed and lovely bathroom.
Great evening meal and a beautiful breakfast,
Set me up for the 118 miles left on the Rebellion way.
Would definitely recommend:)

A really excellent Sunday lunch with friendly service in a beautiful setting. I had lobster for main and strawberry pavlova for pudding and both were delicious. My only tiny quibble is the lack of a traditional Sunday roast option for those of us that don?t eat meat, but the food was great and my friend thoroughly enjoyed their pork roast and chocolate fondant with raspberry sorbet.

We had a lovely meal last night and the food was absolutely gorgeous and extremely tasty. And the service was ?% like always. Well done again to Tim Robbie and the team. We will be back soon.

My partner and I had an excellent lunch here. Two substantial and delicious courses for £21. Warm welcome, great service, nice and warm, thanks to the log burner. Very enjoyable.

A perfect setting - deep in the countryside on the edge of the Wolterton Hall estate, this beautiful old inn offers a warm welcome, delicious food - locally sourced, and comfortable rooms. In summertime you can sit in the walled courtyard, or in winter, by a cosy wood burner. Tim, Robbie and Jane have run the Saracen?s Head for many years - building a loyal following among local foodies, and from further afield. Highly recommended !

We were told the kitchen was closed for lunch, it being a quiet Saturday! But the Chef heard we'd like to eat and he reopened and we had a fabulous meal!
Many thanks for your hospitality!!!

Fabulous old Georgian pub/hotel renovated in a traditional style which I much prefer to the ultra modern but empheral refurbs of so many hotels in Old buildings .
The staff were very friendly and helpful , and the meals we had were the best on our Norfolk tour. A bit pricey, but well worth it.
Although it is the middle of nowhere , the hotel was completely full, and I enjoyed the isolation . Going for a walk in the pitch black night (no street lights here!) was really atmospheric , with the creatures of the night doing their thing . The animals just over the wall in the nearby Wolterton Estate were also hugely entertaining .
Highly recommended.
