Ordering process is a sham. I placed an order online to be delivered to my home. A week later after chasing with no communication, I receive an email to say that the rose is set for collection. This is not how I ordered the item. Instead of just re sending the order, I was told that I have to reorder it!Also the funds successfully left my account and I'm being told that apple pay doesn't work, I did not use this payment !. My partner tried ordering a rose the week before and had the same poor service. Very disappointed and I will not be using Peter Beale in the future.

Surprised I hadn't already reviewed here, been a few times, have a great selection of plants and garden ware, but the garden itself is a lovely walk round, and the café is perfect, even accommodating to myself with a gluten and lactose intolerance, which is hard to find. The roses are great quality, ours produces so many flowers every year (had 2+ years), and for Xmas they do an amazing display throughout the whole garden, which was a pleasant stroll round, my partner loved it.

A stunning display of roses this time of year. Beautifully kept Gardens to enjoy; & friendly, helpful staff who are able to assist with any questions we may have about 'what to plant where' etc. The cafe is always busy and averagely priced. Good coffee & cakes. Worth a visit. Parking is free as is enjoying the extensive gardens.

Beautiful gardens! Lots of high quality plants with knowledgeable staff for after care advice. Great food selection and the service was great despite being busy.

Roses are not really my thing, but Peter Beales had a special event, so it was definitely worth a visit. The scent from the roses was glorious!

The check out is very slow (add in the check out was slow but should not have been I do not know if it?s the software or the people but it was slow )but the gardens are wonderful and good to walk around for the day but there is no one around to ask about the plants it?s crazy there was only one person in the garden at the time .What I also found concerning is that wet floor signs are not being used correctly there are great big puddles in the inside of the building and they are not marked which is unacceptable. The staff are helpful but one of the staff at the check out ? I asked where to get a house plant and what to get that has a good smell to it ? she just pointed me in the direction of the house plants no up selling at all like she could have said we also have some lavender outside and suggested no plant to get at all /: .It is a very nice place but I going to put it at a 3 as i waited a long time at the check outthe lacking in marking wet floors which is very dangerous (E.G they were massive puddles)I found that I am massively naive in plants and just like a pan-flit or these are the plants of the month would be helpful just trying to guid beginners the demographic is older probably 65 to 83 maybe so what you really won?t to be looking at is catering to there grandsons really , the change can?t be too radical though you can?t put up a play park more just like as I said guide for plants and growing them engagingthe older and younger generations together it?s kinda like listening to a 5 year old for 1 hour your hole world view changes some how as they think of things you would have never ever thought of .The gardening staff are the best ever there is probably a tiny amount of gardens that could even rival the garden here amazing place but these problems as listed now are not good.Wet floors not markedCheck out staff lack knowledge on plants in the gardenConfusing for anyone who is not a very experienced gardenerNo help or direction for beginnersalmost no staff around to ask questionsThese are my problems as listed abovePricing is good you pay a good price for very very good plants .Thank you for reading my essay . (:If I have a reply to these above I would happily change these to 5 stars .

Easy to find plenty of parking, very welcoming staff. Rainy start to the day but brightened to a beautiful afternoon. Gardens were pleasent and the whole area is filled with the perfume of roses.Worth going just to sit and drink in the aroma. The plants for sale are of very good quality with many verietys not found in your everyday garden centre. The gardens are not large but laid out well to intrigue round every corner. There is a nature walk but this was closeed of on my visit. Cafè recently built is a fine facility with pleasent staff but a very limited menu and possibly the worst sausage roll I have ever eaten. But you don't go to a top restaurant to buy quality plants and vise versa.
