No booking, no food. If your from out of town, make sure to book a table. Atmosphere seemed nice though.

We have been to this pub many times and it never disappoints. The food is amazing and everybody is so friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend it.

A nice pub the roast Sunday dinner was (I was told by my wife) very good but I was very disappointed with the haddock ( watery and tasteless with weak batter. Definatley not beer battered) and very dry ( frozen ) chips. Beer was good and they have 0.5% Volt draft for the drivers which was good. Staff very friendly

Love this place. The food is always spot on, lots of choice and a regularly changing menu of local in season stuff. The Sunday roasts are amazing! Staff are always friendly, helpful and attentive.

Expected to see French onion soup on the menu as stated on your menu website. You need to update your website . I was very disappointed to see it was not there

It's a really nice pub with great food. It feels like a restaurant but a nice place to stop for a break and indeed grab an amazing meal! Burger was great, by the way!

Had a wonderful meal at this venue last night with my two good friends. I had the veggie option (a beetroot and butternut squash wellington) followed by the crumble. Both were delicious. I also ordered a flat white coffee which was impeccable. Entertainment was provided by the incredibly rude table directly behind us. They spent the entire evening loudly complaining and sending back food, and at the end they even tried to get out of paying for two bottles of wine! The staff were brilliant. They handled the situation very well by being polite and explaining to the table exactly what they had been billed for. I admire the lady dealing with it as she remained very calm and focused. I think the entire pub was relieved when they left! All in all, a great night! Will definitely be returning ?
