This is what a village pub should be like. The family met at my mums small house and is was not easy to all talk and a little cramped on a dull day. The pub was immaculate and plenty of space for us to have drink, something to eat in a quiet relaxed atmosphere, where everyone could sit around the same table.
This is the first time we tried the pub and was so pleased, we will back.
It was really nice of them to put a small order through the kitchen for our son, much appreciated.
A little bit pricey, but everything is these days, but well worth the money as it bought us time with family which is priceless.

Lovely surprise! Inside is so nice and clean. Received a warm welcome. Good choice of drinks and food available. Portions as little big for us but still fantastic value for money. Had the mixed appetisers and loved them all ( probably wouldn?t have had it had I realised the size of the main). My steak was cooked perfectly and the gammon my other half had was tender and perfectly cooked. Will be back again for sure. Maybe on steak night!!

My husband and I decided to buck the trend of Sunday roast, and opted for the BBQ on the back patio instead. We both decided on the 8oz beefburger - 2 x 4oz patties, also contained proper cheese, red onions and a really nice bun. Also, included with the meal, a pork or lamb kabab. We chose the lamb, it was moist and perfectly cooked with a little rosemary. Corn on the cob, salad with a homemade drizzle of dressing and slaw. All delicious ? fully recommend.

The White Hart has very friendly staff, is a very clean and well maintained pub restaurant. (It has bedrooms but i did not stay here).
The food lunchtime and evenings is varied and tasty.
The pub serves real ale and has recently won an award for this. However they also have good coffee, cake and gin.
Theres a patio garden with a lovely view over the fields . They are also very very welcoming of dogs.
A good allrounder!

Food was beautiful- really decent portion especially for the price. I would have had pudding but the selection was a little limited (just my personal taste though I just love brownie)
It was so hot too! Air con might be a shout with the summers becoming hotter and hotter. 5* though would definitely return for the food. Staff were lovely and attentive ?

We always come here when we visit Lynford Water. The staff are very welcoming, there is a great selection of beers, wines and soft/alcohol free drinks.
The menu is excellent with lots of Gluten Free options.
We also love the beer garden which has an amazing field of barley to look at, on a warm summer evening it is just heaven.

Bit off the beaten track but worth the effort. Lovely location and owners have spent a lot of money making the place look good and it does.
Food was great with good sized portions too. Service was friendly and just right. Especially pleasantly surprised with the home made desserts my orange chocolate trifle was fantastic. Perfect balance of sweet and tart. Very good

Amazing place friendly staff great food and that's coming from me as I'm also a chef will return we was blown away with the food only minus was the front garden could do with a dusting as a few cobwebs on tables and there a little unsteady ... but 5* loved it

Just got home from having an absolutely delicious meal here with 5 members of my family
We all had starters mains & dessert all had various different food & drinks all absolutely ? first class that also includes the outstanding service from all 4 waitresses we had very friendly polite & helpful
The portion sizes are a very good size. The price was on the slightly higher end, but still affordable, you get what you pay for & to be honest, it was all worth every penny.
I had the delicious Scotch egg for starter followed by a yummy ? 8oz steak for my main and for dessert, I had the raspberry & blackberry sponge crumble & custard which was really good too.
All washed down with two pints of Hob Goblin beer ? one of the fantastic bar staff actually gave me a Hob Goblin beer glass to take home with me as I mentioned how much I like the look & feel of it which was extremely nice of her.
All in all, all six of us had a great time & would highly recommend The White Hart to anyone. We will definitely be returning again very soon !
