The staff are always great here but the hotel itself is feeling tired. It needs a make over. Refresh the paint, deep clean the bathrooms especially behind the doors. Generally it is clean but it needs some extra attention now. The mattress wasn't comfortable either. None of it would stop me staying there again as we have several years before, but it now needs some tlc all over the hotel.

I was attending a large family funeral near Acle. Work commitments had prevented my partner from attending with me, and so this was a solo visit for one night. As is common when travelling solo, the price was not particularly good value. Check in and check out were polite and fast, and the parking was included. The room and bathroom were of a good size and clean. There was little noise inside the hotel. Being at the back of the building away from the BP station, closing the window kept the external noise low. This branch does not have a breakfast bar, and so you need to order a Breakfast to Go box in advance, unless you wish to search the locality for soemthing to eat. I would stay again.

Clean and pleasant hotel, friendly staff, early entry to the room for an extra £10 was great we could put everything in the room and then explore Norfolk without worrying about personal belongings in the car?

I checked and received such a warm friendly welcome by Nicky on reception. I travel a lot with work and often use Travelodges Nicky is a credit to your hotel Gave recommendations for somewhere to get an evening meal which was really helpful. 5 star Employee

We stayed at the hotel overnight. 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids). No issues, just the bathroom would need some refurbishment otherwise we were happy to stay. The room was generally clean, the beds were great, the king size bed was really great and two single beds were comfy too.

Very clean room comfortable bed but no drawer storage for underwear and no hair dryer hairdryer and as we were opposite the garage very noisy until early hours of morning so could not leave window open On that basis the room was not cheap £266 for two night !

It's very basic if you like that sort of thing, you have to pay for Wi Fi after 30 mins which is free. No proper breakfast unless you liked boxed up food. Staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and quiet and I had a good nights sleep so the bed was comfortable.

As previously wriiten, the staff resolved a lighting problem promptly and professionally and very apologetic, Breakfast in a box, yeah it was box full, topped up with tea and coffee. The room was clean and fresh and there were no issues.

Overall.was great but bathroom was pretty grotty. Obviously cleaned daily but really in need of a good deep clean. All taps and fitting in need of a good descaling and edging of floor needs a scrub not just a quick wipe over.

Very disappointing from the cannabis smell on arrival to the cat urine smell on entering the stairwell area, and the dirt plates left at the bottom of the stairs. There was not a lot of parking outside as was very busy, only 2 disabled spaces.

Dirty bedding which got changed, stains on the divan bed base, snail trail across wall and ceiling, bathroom very run down and in need of a deep clean. Room was too hot and if you opened windows road noise. There is no net curtain or blind, so if you open the curtains there is no privacy, especially when on the ground floor next to car park.

Had a 3-night stay at this Travelodge in early August. I was lucky and got a room at the rear of the hotel, on the first floor and at the end of a corridor - so no passing people and no view of the services. The room was a typical Travelodge room - functional and a little tired. It was clean and nothing was broken. The location is pretty good with plenty of amenities immediately available within a few minutes walk.

It?s not meant to be luxurious I know, however it did come across like a bit of an open prison. Everything could do with some reinvestment. Terrible nights sleep, worst pillows ever. The musty odour that greets you when leaving reception needs looking into, this continues down the ground floor corridor and into the room, where you?re then in a desperate rush to open the windows and get some fresh A47 air. I wish I?d stayed further away from where I needed and got a premier inn or holiday inn instead, the ones closest to Bewilderwood were all fully booked. Having s Starbucks outside across the car park was the only redeeming feature.

No more than average for the price. I?d forgotten how basic the rooms were. Over £220 for 2 nights. Not even a water cup in the room but a free concert from 7am on a Sunday morning from somebody in the cell block. I guess that was a hidden bonus

How nice to walk into a hotel and be welcomed by smiling faces, very rare these days, although we prepaid for early booking in, the room wasn't ready, no problem up stepped Nicky, sorted out a room that was ready and made us feel so welcome, very friendly, clean hotel, would recommend this hotel.
