We ate in the bar in november food was ok but was charged twice. We queried at the time and was assured would be refunded have since called three times and nothing this is 5 months on wont bother again but wont use them either, which is a shame because we travel alot for business.Food & drinks: Charge you twice and cant refund you when you call its never sorted

We spent a couple of nights here for a weekend away as a base for visiting local attractions. We were very impressed with this hotel. Amenities include a lovely size swimming pool with 2 jacuzzis and sauna/steam rooms. Gym (did not use, we were on holiday!!!). Onsite Starbucks and pub which served excellent food.Rooms: Great rooms, spacious, plenty of usb ports/power sockets, comfortable bed, Dyson cool which came in very handy and a generous bathroom with rainforest shower.Nearby activities: Spent our first day in New Brighton which is a lovely place to visit. Great graffiti covering the buildings in the town. Located at the top of The Wirral with a great beach looking over to Liverpool. Lots of great eateries overlooking the marina.Our next day was Liverpool, the main reason for our trip. Never been before and we were very impressed. Albert Docks area has been beautifully regenerated into a great visitor area. Spent an hour or so in the Cavern Club, listening to fantastic live music over a cheeky midday beverage!! Liverpool One is a huge shopping area with a store for everyone. Overall, an excellent day in this historic city.Used Uber to get in and out of the city.Food & drinks: Brilliant Pub and Grill onsite. Lots of large TVs showing live sports. We spent a couple of hours before dinner playing a board game in the bar over a couple of drinks and then ordered our food for the evening. Great menu selection and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the chocolate cheesecake!!

However the noise from other customers was an absolute disgrace until 5.30am!!!!! The noise from the gym in the morning was like being in a nightclub!!!! I would absolutely never stay here again and if you?re looking for a good nights sleep I?d try the travel lodge over the road. No one answers the phone, no one on reception over all very poor!

We booked a table for five for Mother's Day paid over £120. 2 had a Sunday roast beef dinner. Firstly, they arrived on cold plates, a pet hate of mine, the dinner was barely warm the beef was very tough and chewy there were two very small roast potatoes the size of acorns soft not crispy and almost no veg to be seen. We sent them back and ordered fish and chips. The fish was nice with a crispy batter the chips were the stock frozen chips another pet hate if mine the staff were very polite but service was slow I won't be visiting there again not good value for money at all,

Noel and the starbucks team are always happy and ready to look after us when we visit (which is daily) our drinks are served quickly and always to a incredible standard.Food & drinks: The coffees we order on the daily have set a standard to other starbucks I visit.

Stayed 2 nights 30th and New Years Eve - attended the Gala party special thanks to Haley for arranging a fantastic event which was perfect - we had a great time - we usually stay at one of the major spa hotels New years eve but thought give the Village a try - the hotel is very very relaxed, staff exceptionally friendly and helpful - whilst all the guests are enjoying themselves the staff are working hard to serve foods drinks etc and nothing is too much trouble. I've stayed at 2 Village hotels now and on both occasions my wife and i had a very good experience - the pool sauna etc a bonus, free parking, - even sky sports in your bedroom to watch the football. Cannot recommend highly enough if you want a relaxed hassle free stay i now intent to visit more village hotels around the country. Well done to the management team and the hard working staff who had sacrificed their New years for the guests. We also went for a a lovely walk on New years eve along the beech which was 20 mins away - I highly recommend this hotel for the staff, the facilities and the location - Thanks for having us - - -Rooms: Rooms do not have a safe or a fridge - wifi wouldn't stream football to my lap top so not sure why not - if the rooms had a fridge and a safe this would be a significant improvement. That said rooms are comfortable enough.Food & drinks: Food is a little pricey considering eating in a bar. I think this need to come down a bit to make more appealing. Otherwise customers will venture out to the local pubs.Noteworthy details: Free sky sports in your bedroom so can watch the live games - ample free parking and free access to the pool and sauna as long as a member - so id advised you join its free just simple register.The staff at the Village Wirral are very friendly - from reception, bar staff to breakfast staff - not once was anything asked for too much trouble - Thank you
