Called in for a quick drink with friends on a Saturday afternoon in March 2025, as a first time visitor.
The place was clean and nicely laid out, and we were greeted with a friendly smile from the staff.
Staff were polite and we didn?t feel rushed at any point, even though we were only having a drink, and the atmosphere was relaxed and really made for a good experience. We all ordered cocktails, and none of them disappointed ? I had the ?bakewell tart? one, and it was delicious: very well made and at a good price.
Would recommend, and will visit again.

Fell across this place and it's a total gem . We were waiting for a show later in the day and were walking in the area when we saw this restraunt. It really is a lovely place with great staff . The food I have to say is amazing . It tastes wonderful! So well presented and freshly cooked , amazing !
The decor and quality of the place is very good too just relaxing and comfortable. Highly recommended.

We had our Christmas party on Friday just gone.Wow what fantastic customer service off the staff.Not sure if he was the manager but he was brilliant!We were upstairs and will be back next year!

I went for an afternoon tea for my cousins 40th this afternoon. Very disappointed! Sandwich?s were dry and curled up! The fillings were boring and bland. The cakes looked shop bought and maybe defrosted from frozen? Waiter served the tea from a teapot he kept hold of! I got missed and had to go the bar to ask for my tea?! If this was my first experience of an afternoon tea I would never be having one again. Luckily I have experienced quality afternoon teas in other establishments so I know this was very poor. Shame really as I was looking forward to it and had starved myself for it! Only to have to force down dry bland sandwiches as I was so hungry by the time it reached us! Being the last table ?
