This is a proper locksmith. Get your key cut here and it actually works unlike some other high street places. Very small customer area and restricted to one person at a time so not so good if raining! Closes early at 3pm and 1pm on Wednesday.

So the good points. The chap in the shop was friendly and they had the upvc gearbox I needed in stock....so far so good. The problem is the prices! My word £50 for a generic gearbox which I later found for £15 online. An equivalent Yale or ERA box was still only £25 with free delivery. I get that the overheads are higher in a shop and I wouldn't be writing this if I'd been charged £30 but £50 is taking advantage knowing full well my 80 year old mother's home security was compromised. I shan't be returning.

Unfortunately the fact that this buisness had my requirement was good but again unfortunately it was then used to charge an inflated amount and as I had my door exposed and open I accepted its charge but never again
