Large area with plenty of seating. Seating available outside on the main road through from West Kirby to Hoylake; a good spot to watch the busy world pass by. Front is South facing so when the sun is out in the afternoon it's beautiful.

We popped in after a hike for a few drinks. The staff were friendly and they had a nice selection of beers.

A great choice of cask ales from this Spitting Feathers tied house. Top class friendly service and the beer prices are pretty reasonable, in fact if you buy 5 pints - the 6th is free. What you waiting for?

Dietary restrictions: The pizza I had was clearly marked milk mozzarella but the brisket chilli had beans in it which was not mentioned in the menu. I have a grandson who has peanut(pulses)and nut allergy. The beans could have been a disaster .

Excellent array of drinks available. The staff are all great. Pizza/calzones are all way better than most around. Good atmosphere an dog friendly,not sure about cats. Oh an a dart board
