This was once a really wonderful little gem of a restaurant.
It now looks very dated and could do with a freshen up somewhat.
That said, the staff were friendly and attentive.
Food was good value for money.

We booked table for 6 at 5.15 to allow us time to go on to a show. First time we?d been so looked forward to it and all 6 of us were not disappointed! Everything from start to finish was top notch, so well done everyone who works there!! We will be back ?

Avocado toast was delicious, the chilli flakes added to the avocado was a revelation, delicious creamy yolk poached eggs, the service was excellent and the coffee was the best I have had in a restaurant. Would highly recommend this friendly eatery.

As a small business owner we really support and appreciate local people working hard at business to service the local economy and generate employment and profit. However, The Olive Tree Bistro has significant shortcomings when it comes to booking, contacting and first contact when entering the premises. The juvenile and immature server who introduced herself as the 'owners daughter' is clearly inexperienced and needs formal training to undertake such an important role and her aggression and rudeness when we checked in resulted in us not being seated and leaving. Having reviewed the previous negative reviews, I anticipate the expected aggressive response from OTB which will hinder their ability to progress. Feedback is such a precious commodity which I see is not a welcomed opportunity here and I suspect that this will see further decline, more cancelled opening times, inability to recruit passionate kitchen staff and reflect on what the customer sees from a front of house perspective. I can honestly say that this is the single worst experience we've had in Wirral.
