Incredibly positive atmosphere and very warm, cosy and comfortable cabins for the cats waiting to find permanent homes. We as a family have been delighted to have been able to adopt two cats and we had plenty of time to get to know the cats first.

We got our dog Monty from here 5 years ago, and again they were incredibly helpful this time when we dropped off a lost dog we found (they were able to read the chip and contact the owners)

Under a constant challenge to help with limited funds, the RSPCA battles on.Its so easy to not buy a pet you can't afford,so easy not to ill use animals ,so easy to get you pet neutered if you can't be bothered to prevent them mating but every day the British public manage not to bother.Thank goodness for the RSPCA.

I can say I loved it. Seeing all the unwanted fur babies did upset me. Sadly, I couldn't take them all home. There is only space for two

We adopted our cat from here and I cant fault the staff one bit. So friendly and knowledgeable. I'd definitely recommend this branch and would definitely return to adopt another pet. The picture is our little princess, our little cupcake.

Reception staff not friendly or welcoming. My Mum has adopted cats from here in the past and had a wonderful experience but since the merger has said things have changed for the worse. She donated huge amounts of food and cat items but apparently got neither a thank you or even a smile from girl on reception. Shame the admin. staff are letting the place down, as it seems the Officers themselves do a wonderful job

These a dogs are being abused. They are permanently trapped in small cages and the RSPCA thinks it's acceptable.

There are definitely some improvements needing to be made with the systems they use for assigning jobs as it's far too haphazard at the moment. The other difficulty is them lacking officers to go on visits. The officers themselves know that this is an issue, but are unable to do anything about it and they are as caring as you would hope for the job they are doing.Die to the nature of the types of animals we are keeping as pets they have rules they have to follow to avoid invasive species being released into the wild. So, sometimes they are faced with a tough call of euthanising animals (which they hate doing).
