Stopped in on our way out of town. Spoke with Dave for a bit before they opened. Food is even better than he promised, and the service was quick and friendly. Thanks to Dave and crew, from Colin and Michelle (the Canadians)

Awful. Our meals were so bad we had to bin them. The sweet and sour is just coloured vinegar and chicken is cooked in seemingly old oil. The crispy chilli beef was rock hard and looked days old.

Rice tasted like it was days old
Definitely not fresh. New packaging just makes food sloppy.
Prices are disgusting at least £3 more than other places. Would rather drive to other establishment and get lovely food for great prices than go there

Ordered 2 meals fried rice and chips
Chips were Luke warm completely dried out meals were Luke warm too so had to re-heat obviously on last delivery

Batter was like leather ! Chicken was suspect egg fried rice was dry as a bone !! Huge disappointment, must be new owners because the last time I used golden city the food was excellent ! This was lashed together and the price !! Never again

ExpensivePortion of chips over £3.00 and its not a big portion. To feed a family would cost a fortune. No one else was in the shop. And a few walked in saw the price an walked back out.
