I use this store regularly and have always received excellent, friendly service.
I had reason to return a faulty item today and Joseph, who served me at the till, was really helpful, polite, friendly and very efficient and he quickly sorted an exchange for me.
I also needed some advice, about switching my cavapoo?s food and I spoke to Jake, on the shop floor.
Jake was really helpful, with a good knowledge of the different dog foods available, and their composition, and he helped me make my choice. Both these staff members are a credit to your company! Many thanks! ?

I often go in store, as they sell Swan food, and it?s lovely to buy the large bag at £4.99, and sit for hours feeding the swans and ducks on the marine lake nearby. However one trip in June to the store, I came away from it , with a new member to the family, a lovely albino hamster called Sunny, who I adopted, she was 4 months old at the time and has limited eyesight, so requires a great deal of care, and all I can say is she?s worth every bit of it. I think it?s wonderful that the store offers the opportunity to adopt the animals that don?t get sold, and I could see how happy and a little sad the team were at saying goodbye to Sunny, they clearly loved her dearly and told me all about her traits. They truly care about the animals they work with in there and as bad a reputation as pet shops have, The Southport branch of Pets at Home, clearly have staff who don?t just value custom, but value the lives of the pets they care for. One star has been removed as they only have one cage that comes close to the recommended requirements for a hamster. It would be nice if Pets at Home started to sell things like the Bucastate or Niteangel range of cages.
