Went today for a quick lunch before a shopping trip with a friend.
Told when ordering there was a 45 minute wait (pub 80% empty) but we were ok to wait.
After 50 minutes, we chased our food (nothing had left the kitchen in this time). The lady behind the bar was dismissive and walked off (I was hoping to chase up our food but sadly not). 10 minutes later she arrived and with a "ta da" motion, told us to tuck into our chicken and chips sharing platter). I'm vegan and neither of us had ordered that! She then told us our correct food was being plated up.
An hour and a half after ordering, my friend asked where our food was and again we were told it was being plated up. The guy behind the bat was very apologetic and gave us free drinks (tea and a coke) and eventually our food arrived.
So a quick lunch ended up over 2 hours in the pub which ruined the rest of our day as it was then too late to shop!
If you've a day to spare, then definitely go here, if you're wanting to eat within an hour and a half of ordering (when the pub was empty), then don't bother.
We certainly won't be going again. I dread to think of the wait had they been busy!

Popped in for a quick drink. We Met 2 great members of staff called Jack and Tom . They made us feel so welcome and engaged with us that we stayed for over 2 hours. I have not tried the food but it looks good. Staff pointed out the dog station to us so our dog was well looked after. Thank you.

Asked for chocolate fudge, didn't have it, I paid by card and give refund in cash. I didnt want cash as it's an inconvenience for me. Asked for no side salad, it came with side salad. They took it back and scraped it off the plate leaving the wet salad juice on the plate ruining the meal ????? absolute rubbish.

The Micheal SouthWorth customer seems to give low star grading , on each eating establishment he visits.
Maybe, he should just stay in and cook.
Never had a bad experience there. I have been going, over 20 years.

Good atmosphere as we were watching the England euro q final. Poor choice of beer and the one ipa available was absolute pants. Is it too much to ask to get one decent beer on in a pub this size.

Food was excellent struggled with service as a large group big enough to fill every available seat turned up about 2 hours earlier than booked, so it wasn't their fault, would definitely recommend a visit ?
Parking: Free if visiting the pub just put your reg in the tablet as you walk in

Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible parking space. Ramped access at the side of the pub and there is also an accessible toilet locked by a RADAR key
