I have just returned from a lovely holiday visiting the Norwegian fjords. All arrangements made smoothly - my friend flying from Heathrow and I from Manchester. Last minute panics calmly dealt with. MHR was recommended by my brother who, unlike me, has lived in the area all his life and has used MHR for many years on frequent visits overseas and is now even older than me but still travelling with confidence. Many thanks! MHR recommended a company I had never heard of but it was the superb Hurtigruten, a Norwegian company that daily goes up and down the coast - the only captains allowed to dock without using the pilot as their competence is so trusted. They take the post, the passengers and anything else and the cabins, food and service for the passengers are wonderful.

This company is poorly run and their customer service is terrible. I booked a reservation through them and found out a week or two in advance we had to cancel. There terrible customer service led me to lose my reservation with no chance of booking down the road. Money thrown down the drain. Needless to say, do not use this company!!! It's much better to use places like VRBO and travel sites like Expedia.
