After writing a less than favorable review of Chapel Street Boots ? following days of a frustrating situation that turned out to be the fault of Boots.com ? I now have to admit Chapel Street have behaved admirably and professionally while dealing with a very stroppy customer ? me! Apparently my prescription was being sent to a different Boots location without Boots.com alerting me to the fact.

We were visiting the area for a short break and my mum had a problem with her hearing aid charger so we called in to Boots Hearingcare on Friday and the staff couldn?t have been more helpful. They were so friendly and went above and beyond to fix it, we would highly recommend and can?t thank them enough.
I also made some other purchases whilst in the shop, I was disappointed that the tills appeared to be self serve but the assistant quickly jumped on the till when I asked.

Very disappointed to shop at this boots store today to find all of the tills have been replaced by self service tills which I personally do not like why can?t shops give paying customers the choice to either be served by a member of staff or serve themselves at self service!! Should I shop here again I will definitely not be buying as much as I would normally in boots and will only purchase one or two items rather than a full basket of items as i normally do as I really do not like serving myself at checkouts!!

Absolute rubbish. Took ages to answer phone, having previously tried 3 times and got cut off each time. Phone eventually answered in a surly tone only to be told they don't do hearing tests at Formby branch. Not the first time I've encountered poor service from this branch. Avoid if you can

Went for one of the special over 60's days. Always use No 7 products so especially nice to get a bit of discount. Consultants as always charming and helpful
