We stayed at this Travelodge on the 8th of October and the hotel manager Karen was exceptionally kind. In recognising our age and infirmity, she happily, without needing to be asked helped us to take our suitcases from our car to our room. She then explained where everything was in and about the local area and in doing so she was exceptionally kind. We have used Travelodge regularly over the past fourty years and Karen stood out from the crowd as an exceptional manager because she went out of her way to ensure that we were well looked after. Please convey our thanks to her on our behalf.

Left an expensive hand made fascinator in the room. Cleaner was in the next room so my room would of been cleaned next. Never got it back.

Hotel has apparently been updated but still feels very worn. We were on the ground floor in an end room so it was probably quieter than most but could still hear every movement from upstairs and the TV next door. Shower was incredibly loud, literally sounded like a pneumatic drill so not a comfortable experience. Pillows were like rocks but thankfully the mattress was comfortable. Barely any plug sockets in the room, most are USB/C and a bedside one didn?t work. Beware - TV powers on at a stupidly loud volume no matter what volume you turned it off at?great when you first wake up. It serves a purpose but could be so much better.

Stayed here after a funeral the room was clean tidy the chair was comfortable the bed was nice and comfortable lovely thank you
