I went in with my dog who had a cut to her eye after a visit to the groomers. They saw her and dealt with her very quickly. And such lovely staff.

Friendly staff with a pleasant atmosphere. Good selection of pet supplies and staff are willing to help whenever you need them.
Even tho you can shop around to get a better price it?s convenient and always have the stock needed. Will recommend and continue to use.

Helpful staff and a wide choice of pet food. They do need to stock some cold pressed raw dog food such as forthglade though.

Absolutely shocking experience ? would not recommend!
I took my puppy to Pets at Home for a groom and deeply regret it. I booked online as there were loads of appointments available ? now I understand why. I originally booked for 2:30pm, but was asked to change it to 2pm. Despite this, he still wasn?t ready on time, and my elderly father had to take a bus back to St Helens to collect him.
The haircut itself was awful. His ears are uneven, his face looks completely hacked, and it genuinely looks like a child attempted the groom. I was charged £60 for this ? an absolute disgrace. When I complained, the store manager Jasmine was polite and understanding, but the deputy manager (who refused to give her name) was rude and dismissive. She offered to ?fix? the cut, but there is absolutely no way I?d send my dog back there after the stress they caused him.
My usual groomer is lovely, and my puppy has always been happy and calm with her. Unfortunately, this experience has clearly been traumatic for him, and I can only hope it hasn?t put him off being groomed altogether.
Poor service, poor attitude (from the one who didn?t give her name), and a terrible cut ? Pets at Home is absolutely not the place to take your dog for grooming. If I could give zero stars I would

All staff are so helpful and have excellent customer service in general. I was served by Kathryn, who was lovely and informative. A young lad also helped out who was also very informative and well mannered.
