Terrible customer service went in to get a new sim which I phoned up about last week and they said on the phone no problem we can do that. Went into the store to be told there is 20-25 minute waiting time and to come back even tho the staff member behind the desk wasn?t doing anything, returned back after waiting to then be told they can?t do anything and just to phone customer services will definitely not be going back and will be looking at a new provider

Went to collect my two new phones. One for me, one for my son. And what a carry on ensued. Trapped nerves in spine so i was in a lot of pain & not up for any bs. Went with autie son in tow. They refused to give me the phones i bought ie my property. No driving licence. Don't drive. No passport. As i told them f/t carer don't go abroad. So not been updated in decades. Certainly don't look my 37 year old passport pic I'm nearly 58. Told them had original payment card with me. Could also go on my bank app on my phone to slow them both my bank charges to O2 plus collection emails/codes. They stood enjoying the whole drama smirking. Which irked me. I told them i was refusing to leave until i got my 2 paid for phones. They called up TWO SECURITY GUARDS. A shopful of beardy men surrounding me. I called O2 customer services. They asked to speak to a staff member. As he passed my phone back TWO POLICE OFFICERS came into the shop right in my face. The O2 customer services agent told me to give her the last 4 digits for the collection. As i attempted to look up the emails on my phone, a police officer grabbed my phone off me, breaking the case & pulling the phone charms off as it clattered to the floor. It was in my right hand, i have arthritis in my hand & he hurt my sore thumb. Both of them dragged me up & out. They pulled my hands behind me & thrust handcuffs on me. Big black plastic ones that also hurt my hands. Not built for comfort. The four Beardys left in the shop thought it all quite amusing. I was in a panic about my vulnerable son being left behind. I was forcefully removed from the shop & pushed into the police car in front of shoppers on the street. Who probably thought i was a shoplifter. My son was left bemused about what was going on. I had to tell one of the officers to go back into the store to get him. I was kept in the car, restricted from seeing or speaking to my son for 20 minutes maybe more. The windows were steamed up so i couldn't see my son properly. He could have been led away by anyone. The shop staff were responsible for all of this ridiculous drama. I told them i couldn't come tomorrow as my son had hospital appointments. And Friday i was going into hospital for an operation & wouldn't be out till Tuesday. Yeah Christmas Eve. And the phone was a Christmas present for my son. They couldn't care less. Quite belligerent actually. Police were going on at me in the car while the shop shut up. You're going in a cell/prosecuted blahblah. I said bring my son into the car they took no notice. I told them if i was to be arrested then i had a Carers Emergency Card to be called to ensure my son is kept safe from harm. He ignored me. Started trying to call Social Services on his phone. Not answering (no surprise.)
Was i annoyed? Mouthy? Oh yeah. Got nothing to do than arrest a middle aged woman hobbling about with nerve pain? I told them couldn't wait to see them writing out their notes at the station over this. BIG COLLAR. Not. At that point he started back pedaling. Talking of a de-arrest??? I asked him if the handcuffs were for show only, to satisfy the O2 staff??? He kept making more threats. To do this & that. Yet eventually he took the handcuffs off me. After trying to drag me back out the car. Had to tell him to stop as femoral nerve blocked in both legs. He warned me not to shout or swear as kids around. There were no kids around on a murky rainy night. And i did tell anyone near that i had been arrested & put in handcuffs after going to collect my phones from the O2 store that i had paid for! I will be making a formal complaint to both O2 & St Helens Police.

The other day when i went to collect my two new phones it turned into quite an upsetting altercation. As the shop staff called up firstly two security guards & then the police. I spent 30 minutes handcuffed in the back of a police car while my son who is autistic was left to stand on his own. I found it traumatic as my son is very vulnerable & never goes out alone. I couldn't see him properly as the car windows were steamed up. I left a review about my experience at the shop. I have started a formal complaint to O2. Same to the police, grabbing & dragging me was assault no matter their uniforms. Was told at the shop i needed passport or a driving licence. Told them passport out of date they said bring it anyway. I received a notification again from O2 telling me to collect my phone. Being unwell i couldn't go so i asked a friend to yesterday. They took my passport & their driving licence. But yet again the shop staff refused to give them my phones. Avoid this shop. The other day when i went to collect my two new phones it turned into quite an upsetting altercation. He has a man who treats him very poorly. When I went in to buy a phone and a monthly subscription line, he told me the first payment is 520. The man is probably Indian or Pakistani who works, and when I was wearing a Bluetooth headset in my ear, he told me to take it out of your ear. I was upset. A police station, not a phone center
