Went to deposit cash at the machine to find a member of staff hovering over my shoulder trying to tell me what to do when i specifically mentioned that i had done this many times. She was still watching me so i abandoned it.

Been with halifax for over 40 years, seriously thinking about moving banks,customer service is awful, members of staff just walking around with the iPad, stood in a queue for 15 minutes, 1 member of staff on till...the rest are just trying to look busy...if I could rate zero stars I would

Been in this store today 25/11/23 and dealt with an elderly lady with dark thick rimmed glasses and grey hair. She was incredible rude to me as i didnt have my bank card and tried to cancel my card even though i just didnt have it on me but knew where it was. I took my passport in so i could withdraw money but she did not seem happy to help me. I told her in the 30 years i have been with halifax it has never been an issue and withdrawing money with my passport has always been fine and noone has ever tried to block my card. She said she could t go forward without blocking it as it was protocol. I told her i will have my card within the hour and she then was able to go ahead and take my money out.Her colleague asked her something and she was rude to her too. She then turned back to me and asked me how could she help, as though she had completely forgotten who I was and why I was there.Been saying it for a while now but after this interaction im 100% switching to everything to my Monzo account.

Having been sent a Cheque for a hard fought compensation award, I went to pay it in on Saturday but branch was closed and ATM outside does not accept cheques, went to branch today and 2 deposit ATMs inside- only one working and one teller busy with another customer- asked by the "floorwalker" if I needed help. Yeah, get into the 21st Century and have ATMs that work and will take deposits out of hours.

Do not bother going to this bank! Dont know why it's even open? Rude arrogant staff who tell you don't come here to pay in go post office! I said I don't bank at post office! Asked should I bank with post office instead? Staffs reply yes feel free to do so! Aweful customer service!
