I bought my son a USED PlayStation controller.
Was in curries today shopping and out of curiosity I asked the staff how much a like for like one was NEW and get this it costs more in CEX to buy a used product than it is to go in to curries and buy it new. Went in to raise this and all I was told is I can give it back and get store credit as refund. Wow what has the world come to when it costs more to buy a used product than it does to buy a new one.

Bought many games and recently an xbox controller from here that looked brand new. Prices do tend to be a bit on the steep side but the 5 year warranty makes up for it
Not too sure how the trade ins work though. When I trade in old tech they go over it with a fine tooth comb but I see items on shelves and behind the glass in bad condition
Overall good place to get rid of old tech and pick up games for a reasonable price

Did a 'drop and go' order and only realised after I'd dropped the items off that I'd tried to sell the wrong item. I went back to the store and explained what had happened and they were really understanding and removed it from the order and gave it back. Always have a positive experience at this store.

Don't bother taking anything back expecting a refund, because you won't get one. A voucher to use in store. Even if taken straight back. Customer service rating of zilch.

i bought a ps5 pad in the st helens store and he give it to me all dirty on the analog stick and marks all over the back of it i ask him dose it come with a box and he said no so i ask could you clean it for me please has am paying same price has a brand new one he cleaned it pulling hes face and it still come dirty so i asked again to clean it and he didnt seem happy bad customer service for payin full price for it never shoping there again

Hello, my experience today was really terrible, I always shop at CEX, today I saw an item in website and went to the branch in st helens to buy it, but there , one of the male employees behaved very inappropriately with me and in the end it was obvious. It turned out that the device they sold to me was called wireless, but it was actually wired, and they wasted my time and kept me open for more than 15 minutes to check the item, nooo tooo racism! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm really sorry for CEX, I prefer to go to cash converters stores, which have better prices and respect their customers. ?
