The Prescot branch delivers the worst customer service I have come across.
This store is closed 1/2 day on Saturday. Which I have never heard of in decades! (They shut the doors & pull the security shutters down much earlier).
They send text to inform you that your prescription is ready, yet when you get there, it?s not ready and won?t be till tomorrow at mid-day & this is not the first time this has happened.
Another excuse which has often been used is ?your prescription not complete, you can take what is ready, but will have to come back tomorrow to collect a couple of items?.

Recently I was left totally panic stricken because the pharmacy I have my prescriptions sent to couldn?t source my HRT prescription due to a shortage. I had 4 tablets left. I rang Rowland?s chemist and spoke to June. She was incredible! She couldn?t get the brand name for me, but an alternative. She kept in touch with me throughout getting a new prescription from my surgery, speaking to my regular pharmacy, and then having the prescription delivered to me (9.15am) on the morning when I needed a tablet. I am a Carer for my husband, and the time she saved me meant such a lot to me. I felt immensely grateful to her, but my local pharmacy have always been very good to me, and I couldn?t leave them for one difficult to source prescription. I will in future always turn to Rowland?s pharmacy for my vaccines, and other general needs. They deserve people?s trust and custom.
