I visited a pet store today, but the staff engaged in forced tie-in sales, insisting that we had to purchase additional items in order to buy the guinea pig. When we refused, they ordered us to leave. This practice is unacceptable and should be investigated.

I come here often for my pets food and I have to say I experience a negative experience each time. The young girl on the till is extremely pushy when it comes to using a VIP Card and appears very offended when I tell her I don?t have one and don?t want to use one. After I politely say no thank you she then refuses to say please or thank you again as if I?ve offered her for not using a VIP CARD.

Always have friendly and very helpful staff. I had a problem with my filter and Leanne helped us get it working again and gave us advice on how to prevent the problem from happening again.

I went looking for treats for a dog he's rescued. There wasn't a lot of suitable toys. I found enough and topped it with training treats. The staff member was friendly and helped with some of the questions. 5* to that member of staff. The shop is well stocked but over a busy weekend they were likely to run out of items. As it is local to where I live I will be returning.

Young lady that served me was rude , chewing gum and txting didn?t even look at me. Much needed customer service training here. Won?t be returning Aintree store has a much nicer team.

I've just had a phone call catch up with an elderly relative who lives 300 miles away from me. They often take a trip to this store, highlight of their week. Whenever I visit them we come here for a stock up too. The staff are always kind and helpful. Everything we need is always in stock. Everything is priced correctly. Good value too. Anyway, I'm told on 08/07/2024 my relative had a minor stumble in the store there. I'm told the staff were highly professional, kind and attentive. Making sure she was safe and okay and putting her in a taxi home etc etc. I appreciate some people want to be served in 20 seconds flat, or want a retail worker paid at standard rates to have intricate exotic animal knowledge that their vet has BUT a lot of us want to buy our pet stuff in real normal time from kind humans who will do their job well and take a just a moment to exchange a word and make sure their customer is valued and has got all they need and all is okay. Thank you pets at home Prescott :-) particularly the young man and woman who helped my 88 year old granny this week.
