Beers were great and reasonably priced. New decor very well presented. Intend to return to try the pies and food.Parking: Ncp controlled parking at rear of pub. Cobbled Road and church yard at the front.Wheelchair accessibility: Level access through front doors. Wheelchair accessible main rooms and toilets available.

The all new Deane's house! Really lovely update, serving food from 12 and some fab pies. There used to be a problem with some clientele under old management, which now seems resolved. The place has an event room for hire, which is useful as this is next to Prescot church, a listed building with beautiful architecture. There's a few tables outside the front, nice atmosphere in the summer.Parking: Loads of currently free parking options in Prescot within 2-3 minutes walk. Closest is an NCP round the corner, but paid. Why not park up at the other end and make a day of it? Visit the church, grounds and Shakespeare theatre? Or a pub crawl - there's 10 pubs within 5 minutes walking distance ...

Only just reopened after a refurbishment, beautiful historic pub in a great location next to the old church and the recently opened Shakespeare theatre.Pub itself is huge and split across multiple rooms, so plenty of space for large groups, all on the one level, so no issues for wheelchair users.Outside areas also available as well as a function room.Only lost a mark, as only one real ale on tap, on my visit. But one thats definitely worth a visit

It's ..okay. Beer is well kept. The atmosphere is mirred by its awful decor , which just makes the place feel grim.

A good night out destination. Live music, sports, if im being honest though, recently it seems to have become popular with teens.

Top pub. Played there on Friday night with our band Off The Rails. Great live music scene on Friday and Saturdays. Fab crowd and the staff are brilliant.
