Not short on staff, but none of them seem to know what's going on. Service slow, gangs of customers blocking serving areas tables full of dirty cups and wrappers.

Atmosphere is let down a bit by the hospital. Food is great, coffee is good.. staff are brilliant but rushed off their feet. This is a very busy outlet, so be prepared to be a little patient with the staff while they sort your order.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible, this outlet is inside Whiston hospital.

Ask for a sandwich at 3:55pm and told they wouldn?t do it as they stopped at 4pm. I said it?s only 3:55pm and they said we?re not doing it anyway.

I came to Costa for a coffee waited quite a long time to be served when I got there they were a lot of people waiting for there coffee and was told it would be a ten to fifteen minutes wait I said ok when I gave a 10pound note to be told they did not take cash . I felt very embarrassed I did not see a sign saying cards only . I thought cash was legal tender in this country . I have passed this on to Costa themselves as I feel you are part of this large company and don?t care about customers which is what Costa is all about
