Absolutely lovely small local hotel. So much nicer than staying at a big chain hotel.Staff are genuinely friendly, food is great, rooms are nice and the whole atmosphere is more welcoming than most. Highly recommended.Rooms: Nice rooms. I had a ?cosy double? which had a queen bed and was more than adequate for one.

Your prices are a disgrace, It's Newton le-Willows not London, I was charged for a double spirit with coke £10.30, this was not a mistake, i had one and left, will never return.Food & drinks: Drinks are expensive.

1st time here today, 22 of us. Food was ready and hot, waiting staff organised n friendly. Was a bit chilly in room we were in but we will go again. Good reports through the office.

Reasonably priced pay and display car parking is available directly opposite the hotel, with disabled spaces. Hotel staff were polite and very helpful. The restaurant serves a varied menu with something for most tastes, including gluten-free and vegan options. Additionally, there is a well stocked bar that also serves non-alcoholic drinks. The room was clean, comfortable, and well furnished, although the seat provided for the desk/dressing table was not ideal. Other than that, this guest rates the hotel highly.

Visited with friends who had moved to the area & had recommended it. It was a cold day but it was lovely & warm inside sat on comfy sofa next to real fire. Good atmosphere & welcomed dogs which was nice to see. Only slight niggle was no cutlery given with sandwich so had nothing to eat side salad with but think this was just oversight on a busy Saturday afternoon.Walkability: On high street

Been in tonight, as we?d won a voucher at my nephews school for a 3-course meal for 2 people. The food was amazing and delicious. Never eaten here before, but would happily go again. Took my 8 month old, intended on fully paying for her meal, as it was £6. But Terence took her meal off the bill, which was totally unexpected. Brilliant staff, amazing team and yummy food. My daughter absolutely enjoyed it too. Will be back again ?
