Went in late on Saturday afternoon to post abroad. The two ladies who were on were absolutely brilliant as it took ages to find the correct address.
Went the extra mile for me and I can?t thank you enough as it was so important to get it right . All the best to both of you.

I normally find this branch of WH Smith just fine, but today I received the strangest, unpleasant treatment it should be noted. The till was unoccupied with a sign saying staff were nearby. After a couple of minutes, I looked around and asked the security guard where the staff was. He called to a woman at the back of the store talking to someone, and I waved indicating it was me who required service. The female assistant, about my own age (late 60s), arrived with a face like thunder. After specifying what I wanted, I asked her if something was wrong because she looked quite angry. She berated me for not waiting and for clicking my fingers at her (I waved, I don't ever click fingers) while she was with another customer. I told her she was mistaken and suggested she try to maintain a friendlier approach to customers. Throughout, she maintained a face that would curdle milk, and then the security guard heaved into my personal space saying I shouldn't argue with the staff. Would this experience make me recommend this store to others? I challenge the owner to give me this woman's job and I will demonstrate exactly how you provide good service in a cheerful manner.

Items (cards) unpriced, no charts to see codes on the cards, i bought a small Christmas card and was charged £5.99p,,,AVOID THIS SHOP!!! No reciept offered,,, airport prices all over the place,, AVOID!
