I would like to thank your 2 members of staff who helped me on Sunday find a hard backed copy of EmpireWorld by Sathnam Sanghera. Turns out not for my son but his friend who is recovering from a bone marrow transplant So extra thanks for your help

I'm Neurodiverse, and have a particular fondness (*cough obsession cough*) with stationary. Visiting other WHSmiths' closer to me (Lancaster, Preston) can be hit and miss WRT stocking and ability to "see" the stock without a level of overwelm. Only I didn't quite realise this until visiting this store today. As weird as it sounds, the layout and ability to visually navigate the shelves was ... Like a happy brain massage! This section of this particular store is very ND friendly!!

Post office upstairs is the biggest joke I've ever experienced, 3 people in to staff the whole place. 1 of which a trainee, who kept making mistakes the others had to fix. Only 1 qualified to do travel money. I waited an hour to get to the desk. At which point I asked to exchange pounds to euros. Was told at this point I needed a physical copy of my passport which I didnt have but had a picture, no good. I couldve gone home and back to get it in the time I waited to speak to the lady on the desk. What a waste of my precious Saturday afternoon. Not only that, the rates they offer are 10% less than the true exchange rate at current. Absolute joke of a place employing incompetent people. Go elsewhere for your travel money.

Terrible experience. Manageress extremely rude and very unhelpful I arrived at the post office window no one was in the queue, but still had to wait, not a problem. But when manageress found the time to serve me told me I needed to follow the taped of area at the counter which meant walking up and down each isle. I pointed out there was no one else In the queue that?s why I just cut across. She was extremely rude to the point we?re I walked out horrible person. I think she could benefit from a refresh course on how to deal with the public.

Visited 09/03/2021 11amFantastic help from a member of staff named Rachel. The new self serve machines can be a little confusing, however Rachel was swift, polite and professional in helping me with my package.Too bad the same can't be said about the manager (I assume) who was loud, rude and more than happy to insult her staff underneath her breath. Very unprofessional and according to other reviews on here this isn't the first time she has been like this. What a shame.

There is a post office inside the WH Smith which is great if you want to send letters and parcels. Lots of stationary and pens to purchase. There is also an post office assistant to help with the many postal self service machines that are available!

It's sort of ok. For the main store in Liverpool it's a bit rubbish. Staff not interested. Get better stationery in nearby paperchase better cards in nearby Clinton's and better books in nearby Waterstones!! I date say it's ok for magazines....

It's WH Smith, so it's a bit cluttered and there's a Post Office upstairs with everything you'd expect a city centre Post Office to have.We found what we wanted, avoided the inevitable chocolate and paid. Good but dated as a shop but.... It does have pretty much everything you know you're going to get in a WH Smith, newspapers, magazines, stationery, some books etc., etc. Can't fault it for what it does, save that the whole WH Smith offering needs updating. Please lay off the chocolate offers near the tills!!!!
