Not customer focused at all. Despite the large size of the bank there are only 2 cashier points with routinely only one open. There is invariably a long queue. There are many desks and spaces for staff to sell insurance/mortgage etc but they should remember those people who want to pay in and use the services of cashier

Staff, although very busy, are forever helpful and polite. One cashier in particular is an absolute joy, a ready smile, time for those customers you tend to think could be lonely, nothing is too much bother for this young lady. She is a credit to her profession and the branch. Georgia, thank you for brightening our day and thank you for being the lovely person you are. Good luck for the future, Sheila and John.

I cannot give less than one star, useless customer service, I've went there today to paid in cheque from HMRC, I thought I will be able to do it at the counter, but couldn't, there are people inside but they will take you to pay in machine... So Georgia took me to the paid in cash machine, and said to me that she cannot see some of the letters, (they were still readable), but that wasn't my fault that HMRC has print it that way, I had with my all letter with my address and my name on (the other part of cheque issued by HMRC). She said to me that paid in machine can refuse to accept it, when I've asked her can she type it in manually, she said to me that I'm rude and she will not help me, I'm totally disappointed that I was treated that way, I'm with this bank from 2006 and definitely thanks to you're staff (Georgia). I will transfer my money to any different bank, close the account and advice my family and friends to do the same. They are happy to keep you're money into their system but if you need anything to help out hardworking person they will tell you you're rude and I will not help you, instead they will be standing and wait for some one else, because that what Georgia did there where 2 other staff members, and never been bothered about sorting out the situation. Don't use, better don't even try to open the account.

This all started 2 years ago, I went here to update my address and phone number and have a new bank card issued as my other one was naturally about to expire, After weeks of waiting my bank card never arrived, so I went back and was told it was sent to my old address that no one had updated the system with my new details so again updates the system and requests a new card, again never recieved, I went back again and the same thing happened again, by this time I just gave up. I have had payments of 360 per month for two years going in to this account and I can't get access to it via withdrawal. I have to go through the rigmarole every month of calling the bank who have to transfer it to a different account. All because staff at this branch couldn't change some simple details, because they have failed to update my phone number means I don't have access to online banking. Is a joke to be fair. I banked with Lloyd's tsb before their split and they were great together but since the split they are both equally as poor , don't get me started on Lloyd's either.If you want a great bank that really do provide great customer service in branch and in telephone I would recommend santander. Only bank I've never had a problem with and if I do they are prompt in dealing with it.

My hard earned money went missing from the IDM here on my first and only visit to this branch. There was an investigation and my money has mysteriously vanished - unexplained! I got a bad feeling about the manager and he does not even contemplate how hard I had to work to earn that money.I would give it a 0 star if possible. I would warn everyone to beware of the IDM and the manager himself. I have no fault with all other aspects of TSB. My old branch was closed and it was a brilliant bank with super staff. Watch your back folks (and your money).
