We visit this venue every year on the first Saturday of April. This year, we enjoyed it a lot more than in the past. The team today was lovely and happy, which made our dining experience better. The Carvery here is OK, not sure why, but it's always just "ok" 5 meats to choose from, which is great but all seemingly dried out from being sat too long under the heat lamp. Also, the vegetables all withered from being sat too long. I expect some degree of the effects from heat lamps, but this particular Toby Carvery has always been the same. Nevertheless, we will return next year as it's the closest to my disabled family's home, so convenience wins. Thank you the the waiting team for their warmth and service today.
Kid-friendliness: 2 under 10 and 2 under 5, not much for them to do and no space to safely run or play outside.
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to enter, disabled parking bay adjacent to main entrance. Ample space throughout venue for mobility aids.

Quite clearly have a problem with Uber / Just eat deliveries. One meal was missing entirely the other was shoderly put together. No gravy. Hardly any veg, massive lump of cold stuffing. Just stop doing deliveries if you hate it that much. No need to take it out on paying customers. It isn't the first time.

Great service from our waitress Hayley throughout - friendly and professional with great timing between interactions. Great selection of veg on the carvery, all well stocked and well cooked. Very pleased

Server Charlotte was lovely, quick and efficient. Service at the counter was slow and a lot of the side accompaniments eg veg were empty and not quickly replaced

Really enjoyed the meal but one thing really concerned me.
So we were waiting to be sat down?.its Mother?s Day and your bursting so fairs. But a gentleman did complain to I think the manageress (brown haired lady) and I overheard bits off it. TBH she was really quite rude, basically called him a liar but even worse, when he turned away she was pulling faces etc and mocking him?in front of staff and other customers. No matter if the client concerned had a legitimate complaint or not this was appalling behaviour to display in what was a very crowded area

Already replies by email only one reply shocking service health and safety issues, trade standards should be informed, everything was rushed and packed we got moved several times due to over crowding

Have been there with my wife and daughter recently. Atmosphere was good, food delicious (couple extras out of stock). But when it comes to pay I was surprised the price I heard, so the waiter came back and bring the receipt. There was 2x beer in the bill which we didn't order ???
