Great wee pub. Called in randomly after coming up Mathew St. It was my wife's birthday,,,, the barmaid Dom,, gave us 2 free baby guinness and wished her a happy birthday just coz I happened to mention it when ordering a couple of pints. Nice people. Had another pint for the road and as we were leaving the whole bar gave a chorus of Happy Birthday...!!! Great wee boozer and extremely friendly. Cheers ???

Walked in and ordered a pint Overwhelming smell of bad air freshener, the type you would put in public toilets with bad drains. Strong enough to strip the lining off your lungs. Drank up quickly and went to breath easier in Rigbys next door.

Me and my twin brother have been visiting the city centre for over forty year's and the Saddle Inn on Dale street is one of the best local pubs you will visit. This is a proper local boozer that offers an excellent well priced drinks range and is so friendly and an absolute gem to visit. This is a pub with an excellent interior with superb decor and furnishings and brilliant fixture's and feature's and great seating areas. This was the 1st pub that we went to in 2024 and what a pub to start the year off.On our visit we had a few glasses of Tetleys bitters which were superb and well priced. This is a superb local pub in a superb area of the city centre and is easy to get to from Moorfields train station its just a short walk away. (This is my fifth review of the Saddles Inn). Opening Hours. Monday-Thursday-12.00-23.00. Friday-Saturday-12.00-00.00. Sunday-12.00-22.30. Public Transport. Bus Stop. North John Street Bus Stop-12-13-14-14A-14B-14C-17-17A-19-20-136. Train Station. Moorfields Train Station.

This has always been one of my favourite places in town. Tonight though feeling like I've been ripped off for drinks. Getting charged for doubles that I never asked for or wanted. It's a cheap trick by the member of staff behind the bar. I wish I would of made her pour them away and give me singles. instead I will be going elsewhere now. 9 people in my party feeling like they've been had off. All we can do is avoid and warn other people check what you pay for.

We came in for drinks as tourists from London . The bar maid was taking to another customer who was clearly a local and this chat went on and on while we waited to be served . We finally left as there is pubs all around and she seen us leave and didn?t care . What a shame for the openers .

My twin brother Stephen and I decided to do a pub crawl down Dale Street ,is there an easier street than this to do a pub crawl with so many great real ale pubs along ,one that we drooped into was The Saddle Inn Pub. A wonderful looking pub ,the interior is traditional ,it's basically a two roomed pub ,a great looking serving bar ,pubby decor and furnishings ,nice wall art and plenty of seating options ,it's a pub I always feel at home in. We were here on a Monday very early afternoon and this pub was already busy ,we ordered an ipa from Eagle Brewery ,these were served in excellent condition ,we chilled out ,sipped our ipa's and planned out the day ahead. My ipa was really good ,a crisp, well balanced ipa ,hints of caramel ,a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a slight bitter finish ,a classic British ipa served in a classic British boozer. We really enjoyed our ipa's in here before we moved on and as on every previous visit to here we had a great time. The Saddle Inn Pub is easy to locate along Dale Street . Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from midday. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Ok, nice atmosphere, young girl behind the bar didn't know how to pour a Guinness though, that was disappointing.
