The venue is so lovely, unfortunately it didn't match my experience with the service and food. Whilst my children enjoyed their pizza, I had ordered a 'Smash' patty burger, which was disappointingly not a Smash burger, which was served on a dry bun. No one came to ask 'How our food was', and we also didn't get the side of rosemary chips which we ordered, so had to ask for that to be taken off the bill.

I booked lunch here as the last time I called in the place was packed out. It was a good choice though as we got a table by the conservatory doors with a nice breeze on a very hot day. A lot of thought has gone into the layout of the building and it has a great light and airy feeling with all the sliding doors open. We ordered chicken wings and the charcuterie board. The wait wasn't too long. The chicken wings had a nice hot sauce on them and were delicious. The board had a good selection of meat and cheese and was enough for a main meal. They had a good selection of beers and wines and we found the staff to be quite attentive. Mind you this was at lunchtime and it was fairly quiet, of an evening the place can be quite busy.

Waited almost 20 minutes in a restaurant not even half full for a table while one member of staff took orders seated and cleared tables meanwhile three members of staff stood behind the bar making drinks going on their laptops,phones etc. Staff very ignorant and unhelpful lacking basic customer service skills for people who have clearly worked in hospitality for some time. However the food did make up for the poor customer service experience.

Really comical experience, it was so bad we actually got a laugh out of it. Like others we were seated immediately but it took 20 mins for drinks order. The food came out quickly but half was missing and despite getting up and asking the waitresses several times it never arrived ? it was like they had goldfish memories and didn?t acknowledge you after asking. We couldn?t wait to leave so paid at the till. I got the items removed off the bill but it was still very steep for the quality of food - and the cheese on the burger looked plastic it was all gross. Very disappointed as I take my elderly mum out of a Friday and this place ended up all about the look (or ?aEsThEtIc?) with food and service way down on their list of priorities. Try somewhere else on the lane if you want food.

My 92 year old Dad was looking forward to the. ?All day cooked breakfast?. Food absolutely awful Sausage and hash browns about 24 hours old. Egg was soggy, bacon was just a slice of soggy fat, He?s in bed feeling sickly. Absolute crap. He expected 100% quality as got got 1%. He was too polite to say it was awful because of his manners. Dreadful!!!

We picked here as i have had a lot of health issues and sitting too long is painful so we really wanted to be out in the sun and comfy, I took my own heat pack and cushion and was relatively comfy initially.
This time we arrived about 1 and it took about half an hour for anyone to even take our order. We were given our wine pretty pronto but we didnt get our food until way after 3.
We asked a few times especially as people who had come in long after us were getting their food before us.
To make matters worse they have a license for outside smoking and we were right by the smoking area. Yuk.
We asked a few times about the food until eventually we were told that a big group.of orders hadn't gone through and as they were just now being put through we would have to wait until they got to our order in the line. So people who ordered after us continued to be given their food first. We said shouldn't those orders who had been missed, including ours, be given priority but apparently not ????
We asked how long it would be and they wouldn't tell us. He said you can have your wine for free like it was a massive concession when we should have got the food for free.
By the time we got the food I was so uncomfortable and it pain it ruined our special treat
To top it off we asked for extra bread and never got it. Oh amd right at the beginning we had asked for water and after a couple more asks my sister went and got it herself!
We highlighted all this at payment with the same member of staff and he was quite non plussed basically like we did what we could and you got free wine.
Just such poor customer service.
Food was OK, nothing to write home about.

Food was cold, Diner/pub in a trendy area of town. Fixed menu, offered egg and toast, and mushroom on toast, but couldn't make a mushroom omelette when requested,

Lovely food but i don't like dogs near me when Im eating, would of thought an upmarket place like this would have better hygiene rules. Very off putting. Shame really !

Great place, great service, super friendly staff dog friendly throughout only had drinks but plan to return for food. Good menu plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available.
