I thought we had booked to come here for our Anniversary meal, however on arrival I found out I?d booked the Liverpool Street, London venue. I was mortified but the front of house staff were all lovely and thankfully were able to accommodate us.
Danny met us at our table and was attentive, polite and such a lovely manner.
The food was excellent and the choice of cocktails was really good.
Thank you for rescuing our anniversary meal x

Celebrated a birthday here. Absolutely stunning decor. If you?re looking for a posh place with lovely food to splurge a little on, that won?t burn (too big) a hole in your pocket, this would be a nice experience to kickstart things. To celebrate the premiere of the Downtown Abbey movie, they launched a special menu too- which was what we ordered from. Food was generally lovely. Beef tartare and fig salad for appetiser. A big basket of zucchini fries for starter was great too (but we couldn?t finish it as it was just us 2), the fries were tasty but probably a little too thin stringy so not as crispy as I hoped. Main courses were lemon sole fish and braised duck curry. The fish was lovely. Duck curry was a little unusual but I thought why not try it. Didn?t really go well with basmati rice (jasmine rice would have been better I think). Quite a unique take on Asian curry flavour but I probably wouldn?t order this again. Not sure why duck curry is on the Downtown Abbey menu and the correlation but (what do I know:) Ended the evening with a lovely little complimentary dessert for the birthday, came with a candle which was a nice touch. Generally a wonderful dining experience because you get to dine in such a beautiful setting. (Remember to check out the powder room, it?s incredibly beautiful).

We visited the Ivy a couple of days ago for lunch.. We hadn't booked but we were very pleased to be able to get a table.. I'd never been to an Ivy before . What a beautiful place.. It's gorgeous! The staff were great, very attentive and professional. The food was amazing with a separate vegetarian/ vegan menu. We had the avocado and red pepper dip as a starter. We even asked the chef for the recipe, it was so good .I had the Asian salad which was brilliant, my sister had the fishcakes which were gorgeous.. The cocktails were incredible.. Definitely going again! Highly recommended...

Visited on 2 occasions the second bieng today had a lovely meal and drinks then drinks at the bar for my aunties 80th birthday ? couldn't fault from start to finish

Went to The Ivy for breakfast and the whole experience was exquisite. The internal styling of the restaurant was breathtaking and the food and service was excellent. Couldn't fault a thing.

Came here for my husband and I's first wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint!
This restaurant is absolutely stunning, beautiful architecture and interiors.
All the dishes were perfectly done and presented, definitely a place to go for a celebration.

The most beautiful restaurant I could step foot in Liverpool. A little pricey but totally worth the visit. Good service, lovely friendly efficient staff who are calm, informative, helpful and understanding. The place is beautiful, clean and the food is amazing. would definitely try come back for special occasions.
