Went into this store, member of staff was taken pics of the reduced items in-crouching on my space? got to the till some young mixed race girl was playing in her phone and playing with her hair. Waited five minutes before I called her- was completely oblivious I?m sure she?s not hired to play on her phone and with her hair. ( she can do that before or after her shift )

Noone seems to man the till so when the clubcard doesn't scan have to wait to get someone's attention then they think it's scanned and then try make you pay the full amount claiming it had done the discount.

Several times I?ve bought chicken that upon getting home 10 minutes later has smelt rancid as soon as I open it and have had to return. One time the cashier appeared to almost throw up from the smell when I brought it back. Although everything I bought appeared okay when I picked it, I?ve seen almost yellow chicken and bacon on the shelves on numerous occasions. How is this ok?

Mainly quick items, but clue is in the name. Great meal deal choices and well stocked. Cash machine also just outside. Plenty of self scan and service EPOS for checking out quickly. Pleasant staff even though store is very busy. Great location around corner for UoL Student Guild.

I came here with my friend (we're both students at LJMU) and I was happy with this Tesco. I definitely recommend it, especially for students in the area.

This shop is always packed. But I'm very impressed how well stocked of sandwiches it always is. Like even when every student in Liverpool storms through this place buying meal deals, this shop always has a decent selection out. The security guy looks really hard too.

Source of almost all my lunches at uni. Does get busy at lunchtime but if you're only there for a meal deal there's a pretty orderly unspoken queue system to follow
