My complaint is regarding a staff member I think was named Matt but not too sure it said on his name tag that he had also been working with Tesco since 2011 so I was surprised about the way he treated me, I visited the store last night (20/08/25) around 9pm and tried to purchase two Xbox gift cards for the value of £25 and it charged me for both but only gave me one, the reason for this was the self checkouts only allow for one gift card to be bought and since it was past 9pm they couldn?t refund me at the time. I returned to the store today (21/08/25) an hour or two ago around 4pm and thankfully given the refund, unfortunately I was abused and laughed at and also argued with by a member of staff who wasn?t just any member of staff but the one filling in for the store manager as he was on holiday today (or so the staff member said) the reason for the fill in manager abusing and arguing with me was because I asked to be compensated as the reason for the gift cards not working was the stores fault and not mine, upon asking for the compensation I was offered £5 which also disrespected me as a loyal Tesco customer, after I raised the issue about the value of the compensation I was told by staff member Matt (I?m 99% sure this was his name but if not I could identify him if I went back in store) that I?m lucky to be getting anything, this deeply upset me as I have been going to Tesco since I was a child and view them as a trusted and reputable supermarket but now I?m not so sure. Matt was smiling and laughing at me through this ordeal and also talking to me like I was a child, he then offered me £7.50 which I took because he left me with no other option, I have been very upset and angered by this situation and would like it to be resolved as quickly as possible and would also like the main manager of the store and the store owner to know about matts actions as no loyal customer should be treated this way, for him to offer me £7.50 as compensation when I informed him I paid £10 for the taxi down the store alone never mind the time from my day Is truly unacceptable and I would like a reply as soon as this is seen by Tesco. Matt is representing Tesco by working and wearing there uniform and I definitely don?t think his actions is under the company policy, please reply to me when possible as this situation has not only angered and upset me, but made me not want to shop at Tesco anymore. Thanks.

It?s supposed to be a superstore but it is not. Limited selection of baby products, hygiene products, cold products, etc.

The Tesco Superstore was just a short walk from our hotel, which was really convenient. It had everything we needed ? snacks, drinks, even some travel essentials we?d forgotten. Clean, well-stocked, and easy to navigate. Great to have such a reliable option so close by!

Stopped selling any vegan cheese whatsoever randomly, and now have to go to another competitor to do my weekly shop. I understand there might not be as much demand with cost of living, but at least keep the basics stocked like violife. Used to have tons of cheeses and brands.
