Too bad we can't put 0.
Catastrophic both in terms of the welcome and in terms of the sandwiches
Rude waiters, tasteless sandwiches
Go on your way and choose Gregg's next door.

Catastrophic, the welcome was deplorable, the lady was as rude and unpleasant as the sandwich was tasteless. The other employee wasn't very smart, but at least he wasn't rude.

Please dont go to this subway. Staff do not wash their hands with soap before making sandwiches?avoid unless you want to get ill. Staff are also rude and unhelpful. The subway down the road (crown street) is much better, this one should be closed.

Your employees must learn how to behave like humans, the one we came across behaved as if he was mentally ill and looked so threating as if he is mad in the head. I think he should be sent to mental asylum for treatment and Subway should learn how to hire employees. Act with decent sophistication as a business subway, what are you running a business or a mad house.

Went on 9th April 2024 at 12:00, only one person on which I think is horrible for a lunch time to have him by himself, didn?t catch his name but he did tremendous work and deserves a raise for what they?ve put him through, there was quite a queue and he worked quickly and efficiently, only reason I?ve marked it low is so the higher ups can see that?s it?s probably not a great idea to have only one person on at a lunch hour, especially when they?re expecting a delivery and only have one staff member on (a member of the greggs staff came through demanding that they answer the door to the driver even though he was by himself) food is great and I felt sorry for the staff member who had to put up with lunch rush by himself

the guy serving was lowkey so mean lol...asked for 12 hash browns which I understand is a lot but I was hungry after a seminar and he huffed at me before slamming them onto an oven tray alongside another guy's sandwiches; who he had been chatting animatedly with before I interrupted them apparently. I wanted to pay in cash to get rid of it but ended up paying in card as it probably would've been a huge inconvenience for him. The hash browns did slap though tbh.Kid-friendliness: probably not :)

Walked in around 30 mins before closing time. Kayleigh was really friendly and smiley, made our subs without fuss and didn't skimp on the fillings! Would happily go back based on this visit.Vegetarian options: Great options of vegan and vegetarian fillings.

Just walk in and found the worker at the kitchen checking on his phone, so I need to show my face to get his attention. That's nice isn't it? - said the worker as well :)

Really awful experience both times with staff. First time I went in, a staff member lied and said she didn?t have any gluten free bread (despite it being on the menu), and looked at me like I was an idiot. The second time, the entire time both member of staff were laughing at me the entire time, saying a little bit won?t hurt me- my diet is because I have an invisible disability and certain foods trigger my autoimmune disease to flare up and will hospitalise me. If your company provides options for dietary restrictions, expect people to come in with dietary restrictions and grow up have some respect for people- you don?t know what they?re going through. 0/5

My daughter ordered a take away meal to be delivered but 2 of items were missing, food was cold, squashed and horrible so got on phone to Uber eats to complain but they said to contact Subway so she rang them and some gormless young lad on other end told her she'd have to go down and collect it...1 mile away! , no transport and raining heavily!. They only offered her a complimentary cookie! and refused to refund the 2 items missing. They told her the manager would be in at 4 o clock and they would get her to call my daughter which they never did!. So at 5 o clock and still no joy myself and my husband set out to the Subway a mile away getting soaked in rain. Upon arriving there we were met with 2 young lads who looked like they didn't have a clue!. No bosses around!. Explained why I was there and asked to see manager as was told she would be there on phone....lie!. Was just fobbed off on phone. She was never there. So I demanded one of lads got her on phone. She said she would not be offering anything as it was Uber eats fault yet food was still horrible tasting and missing 2 items! and we had been lied to and fobbed off on phone. No apology or anything. Manager was very rude and unhelpful and I cannot understand how Subway who is a big chain can leave 2 young lads on their own to try n run a shop and deal with everything when they havnt got a clue between them!. Shocking and shame on you Subway!. Won't be going anymore. Uber eats were quick to refund their mistake straight away but Subway nothing!. Happy to take your money, hide behind a phone and leave 2 young lads to deal with it all!. Disgusting! ?

my first experience there was quite atrocious. first of all, the line was huge which is understandable as it is a uni campus and that would indicate a popular spot with good food and good customer service (i assumed). i lined up and waited for 40minutes behind about 6 people. i was getting quite agitated as the staff were really very slow and kept wandering off in the backroom and leaving the sandwiches in the middle of making. i could see the people in front of me were also getting annoyed. i decided to overlook the slow pace of the distracted staff and when it was my turn i decided to order something new for it (the emperor wrap seemed very nice). and then things went downhill. the guy making my wrap (i have seen him there a lot when i go past and he is always somewhat distracted, moving incredibly slowly and looking out the store for some reason) tried to make it 3 TIMES because he kept putting it in the oven on the wrong setting and it kept inflating like a balloon (had me looking very shocked). he was also getting some topics wrong (in addition to his slow pace) but alas, after 10mins of watching him struggle (or more like he couldn't really be bothered) with my wrap, he gave it to me. i thought it would be very nice considering i like all the things in it BUT when i took my bite out of it it was as if i bit in some ancient papyrus found in the Sahara desert. it was BEYOND crunchy and it was disintegrating in my hands. i was astounded and struggled to eat it in embarrassment whilst rushing to the train station (i didn't expect it to take so long despite the size of the queue).still, i decided to give this subway another chance. i went there again and ordered the same thing. good thing the guy who made my wrap wasn't there and this other girl (she seemed nice, however the unbotherness must be shared between all employees of this subway) and she made a quite nice emperor wrap for me. oh i must add, there's often a lack of some ingredients and sauces which could be a bit disappointing sometimes.i decided to take my partner there another time because it was the closest sandwich shop. we regretted the decision 5 minutes into waiting in the queue. said unbothered guy who gave me the papyrus emperor wrap was there ALONE (may i add, there's always no more than 2 people on shift and they often leave sandwiches standing and wander in the backroom ???), slow, distracted and looking out the store, with 5 people waiting in front of us. we decided to give him a chance, but after seeing him stare out the window as if there's no customers to serve and asking a girl what drink she wanted 3 times we couldn't stay any longer. we went to the subway that is right behind the cafe nero 5mins away which was completely empty and the staff was super friendly and welcoming with complete visibility about their products and what they're putting in your sandwich. not to mention how quick the service was and how nice the food was! very very yummy baller, they served me. i will be going ONLY to that subway from now on :)in conclusion, this subway really isn't up to standard for the busy campus it is on. the staff needs to seriously improve their customer service.

This was the first time I went to Subway and they did not provide a good service. I ordered what I wanted and one of the girls cooking the sandwiches stopped making my order (I did not realise). Later, another girl (the youngest one) asked me roughly what I wanted, and thinking of my order being already done, I told her that I was already attended by them. Apparently not. My friend told the boy in charge of the payment that my order was not done. The young girl cooking the sandwiches replied rudely that she asked us for that. They gave me an incorrect order but I did not want to cause any more problems so I said nothing else. I understand that dealing with costumers face-to-face might be difficult but it is not easy being a costumer and having to face this disrespectful lady either. I don't think I will come back here.

Had really good experience in that store. The girl I think she is the manager was very nice and polite and offered options when I asked for something that wasn?t there.Highly recommend it.
