Waiting time was very, very long. Waited about half an hour to be seen. Staff members very rude and not very helpful. Came in to get my glasses fixed as they fell apart when i simply touched them. Was told I needed to buy whole new glasses as my prescription has changed by 0.25 in one eye. Very expensive. Will be using gorilla glue to fix them myself and asda opticians instead from now on. I'd recommend others look elsewhere too.

I'm very pleased with my two pairs of glasses, James the assistant in the store was very helpful with me choosing my frames, he was so professional and had a lovely manner.

Gave you a few chances to sort out through complaint and no one seemed bothered to call me on the issue as was promised someone would as I would prefer that instead of emails so on that reason givin you a one star and for the rude certain female staff member the treatment she gave me how she made me feel infront of everyone embarrassing me left me leaving the shop feeling awful and my anxiety through the roof when i should left feeling happy with my new glasses.... utter disappointment

Excellent service, very decent prices. Got a pair of prescription sunglasses, which have been a blessing after wearing cheap £1 sunglasses for years. Staff are everything staff should be. Welcoming, polite, informative, professional and attentive to your needs. Kirkby has a good opticians with Specsavers. They also do an eye scan that might detect any one of a myriad of conditions, sometimes saving lives and well worth getting for an extra £10 IMO. Good addition to the Kirkby Town Centre, has become part of the landscape here.

When I went for the fitting the lenses were way to thicker than I,d ordered (I,d ordered ultra thin). The lenses didn't fit in the frame properly and frames had been misshaped. I CANCELLED THE ORDER.

I recently had my eye test at the Kirkby store, and the staff from the young lady who I did my first tests with to the optician gentleman who made me feel very welcome and put me at ease. They explained the process from start to finish, I didnt feel rushed like some places you attend. Overall my experience was great and I would recommend the store.
